Recently just change my myvi 175/65/14 up size to Yokohama es32 185/60/14 .
While maintenaning the same recommended tyre inflation pressure stated near the door frame (31psi), the new tyres seems appear "under-inflated" compared to my previous tyre. Is it Yokohama rubber is softer than my previous set ecopia200?
Should I increase the inflation pressure futther since the tyre width is change d from 175 to 185?
How much should I increase though the 31psi recommended tyre inflation pressure is set for some reason.........

QUOTE(regnox @ Mar 24 2018, 11:26 PM) Your upsize got diff in handling? I’m planning to upsize the same ratios with my iriz Personally, not much difference in handling. Perhaps I'm have not been squeezing my tyre performance since I own my car......can't feel anything significant. Anyway, it seems softer compared to previous ep200.

QUOTE(speedy3210 @ Mar 25 2018, 07:49 PM) 175/65R14 changing to 185/60R14 wasn't an upsize. In fact it was the reverse. OD for your ori size is slightly bigger than your current size. Perhaps I misunderstand and shouldn't use "upsize" wording here... My intended question was whether to increase the psi further if to use wider size of tyre (185/60R14 vs 175/65R14)?

QUOTE(sengasdf @ May 2 2018, 01:29 PM) Mind sharing how much and where you get it? It was around RM145 (if buy 4 biji) excluding gst. The price inclusive of balancing + alignment. Somewhere around Batu caves area.
