Concerning the Future Use of
Orange Oil Tire Compound
The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. will revise its use of Orange Oil compound contained in certain tire products since it can achieve the same performance with another material. In line with this, products currently using Orange Oil will switch to a different material altogether or employ a mix of the new material together with the oil. This change will be brought into effect gradually from January 2019. Note that the change will not affect tire performance in any way.
