Only use Windows Defender.

Sometimes run deep scan with Malwarebytes. This program last time light and no frills, now become bloated.

Bitdefender has the best detection engine but I recommend installing both bitdefender and malware bytes for even more protection the term “virus” and “malware” are different you can also check out this video here https://youtu.be/qPLTn2osHI0 his channel covers many Things about computer security

Well for my experience I didn’t expect any slowdowns cause 1)I run my os and antivirus software on an Standisk 3D ssd
2) I only do scheduled scans on malwarebytes so I only keep my main anituvirus runing on the background

when you install windows 10 or windows 8, you automatically get the inbuilt windows defender, which is a windows antivirus..
