the major difference between SC and outside SC for me is checking
official SC check everything for u, while outside SC will not...they simply change the oil thn handed back to u

thats why few days ago someone opened thread looking for reliable workshop
its hard to find reliable workshop that do all this and not cut your throat at the same time
most of which are just small business, those big workshop are usually cut throat based on my experience


as got oil that can easily last 10k, i too recommend liqui moly
i use 10W-40 semi syn on my cranky/picky campro, i push the service from 5k to 8k
even thn, my campro still didn't get cranky
but back when i'm using shell HX7 and synthium 800, the engine already cranky at 4k KM

synthium 800 is very bad for me
those higher end ones should be acceptable

castrol magnatec 10w-30 for wifu's myvi. used since when she got the car (2nd hand). always bought from tesco when they got sell (rm110 per 4l bottle) in fact i hav 3 bottles at home for stock. enough for 4 times oil change, at the interval of 8k km

cant say anything about the oil since i rarely drive my wife's car. but if mechanic say all is good then ill happily use it again

Why service centre dont allow myvi l.5 se to use full synthetic oil? Say only compatible with semi synthetic

Coz they dont make fully synthetic 5w-30 e.oil for myvi.
They only have 0w20 fully synthetic for axia.

Like that they rugi la. Kenot sell u their own oil.

If u habis warranty just go service outside.

This crap oil is the same league as those engine oil from JTX. Avoid it at all cost.
