Hi Guys,

My uncle and aunty are quite old (+/- early 70s) and some of us thought of helping them to get cancer marker test since they were recommended by Govt Doctors during their checkup.
Was wondering where is the cheapest place you guys go to, as some of the hosp that I've seen are quite expensive.
Thanks.

Yea, i think another uncle passed away recently due to leukemia (but caught it really late as doctors suspected of other disease), and they wanted to be safe.
So was trying.
Yes, cancer markers are not 100% accurate, but was hoping to allay their worries.
Or what would you recommend?

for female specific : pap smear, breast examination, mammogram
for male : testes examination

general : colonoscopy
lung radiography if in risk group(heavy smoker/ex heavy smoker)

don't ignore symptoms

cancer markers don't allay worries.
if cancer marker high but no symptom what you going to do? investigate this and that and everything? and if all the further investigation negative what's the next step? invasive biopsy just for a raised cancer marker? get what i mean?
