i believe you about the allocations because the info already exist on a map you can easily get at the sales center.
just need to word it clearly when it comes to planning and launching to avoid confusion.
it is true there are allocations for maybe total 10,000 apt units in the far north, about 3km from the current houses.
700-800sqft size. some are classified as mid cost, some may be low cost.
not all are launched at the same time, maybe 1500 units every 2-3 years, starting this year.
when the rest will be launched, how fast, who knows?
the developer won't be so stupid to launch so many if nobody wants to buy, nobody wants to live there.
keep in mind the township is big, 4,000 acres is not a small plot.

there are at least 5 developers in the whole area:
sp setia - houses, apts, mall, shoplots
pkns (itself) - houses
anjung sari (appointed by pkns) - houses
mentari (appointed by pkns) - single storey houses
sunsuria - semidee shoplots, apts (not yet)
pkns has been building and selling for 4-5 years now.
these houses were priced lower than setia ones, so subsale pricing also lower.
the other reasons incl builtup, specifications, gated&guarded, landscaping, closer to schools/parks/shops/banks.
go with an agent and see a few types, you'll know why.
