What you are looking for is drill to circular saw attachment. Such tools does exists. But this was a 90s' product. In fact it was removed because it was not safe. The drill is attached to a big rig that has a circular saw blade. The problem is the drill has to be in a constant on position and there is no way to turn it off in case of emergency due to the location of the switch. There is also a lower torque from the drill at fastest speed. This thing was not cheap. It was about RM400. And you can only attach some drill models to it. I forgot what company made it.

Currently i'm looking into getting a chainsaw attachment for angle grinder.

If you have attended niosh, cidb or any other safety courses, you would have heard of " guna peralatan yang sesuai".

By the name of drill, how on earth you want to use it as grinder.

Now even when you have the so called safest adaptor, you are still at high risk.

Grinder has a safety guard. I am not sure if the socket adaptor has it or not.

Grinder disk are very dangerous and could kill.
Bad mounting, insecure lock and no safety guard could kills.

Incorrect rotaional speed and grinding angle could break the disk into pieces capable of puncturing your skin.

Tried using bolt and nut to lock-in the grinder disk and use drill ( can look,up in Utube)
SCARY !
1) hard to get CG correct , will wobble - inches from your finger
2) because of the Tork of the fast disk , the bolt will find a way come out from the drill
3) also the disk will wobble and come outta the bolt n nut lock

Advice to TS
Just go buy an angle grinder , using a made in China one Rm200 only , happily does the job .

back in 2003, i almost lost one of my eye (or even my life) due to splitting/broken grinder disc while cutting some iron pipe. the grinder does have its protection guard, but somehow the broken disc ricochets towards my direction, missing by 1-2 inch of my head. its stuck damn deep on plywood wall behind me. damn scary weiiiii!

honestly, if i personally really needed a grinder for 1 single task. i would go mr diy buy.. use it once then exchange it(make up excuses like this not enough power to cut or something) for some other stuff that i could.
But i am saving a bosch 3 in 1 multitool, the cordless type.
