I find it weird they didn't extend this payment method to Boost Juice since they basically share the same name lol.
Anyone made payment online via Boost before? I made a payment via online but didn't receive cashback or a shake reward, asking Boost now.. This post has been edited by Carlo J: Jul 5 2018, 11:09 AM |

QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Aug 2 2018, 04:24 PM) Paparich does actually, but depends on the outlet. I've seen one in Pavilion that has the Boost QR code sign at the counter, but I chose to pay using Favepay instead for the cashback. But since that now you can link Boost with Favepay, I'm gonna do just that next time to get double the reward lol. Can the cashback stack tho? |

QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Aug 2 2018, 07:38 PM) Not sure, as I've yet to try it yet. But I don't think you can, because you're gonna be using Favepay as the platform and Boost as the payment method, so cashback will only be given on Favepay's side. Also, according to the instructions from both sides...you will be entering the amount of payment first, and then select Boost as the payment method, after that it will bring you to Boost to enter your pin and finally make the payment. So I don't think it's possible to trigger the cashback entity on Boost's side. Correct me if I'm wrong though. Ohh, ok.What I meant by doubling the reward was the cashback from Favepay and the shake reward from Boost. QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Aug 3 2018, 12:40 AM) The "Boost payment machine" is actually a smart modern terminal running on Android, provided by MP@y, at least from what I noticed. True, since I see KFC only promoting their own card for payment besides cash but it's a prepaid card..Boost is baked into the MP@y software, and every merchants (who have the terminal) have their own MP@y account that can be logged in and logged out, that was exactly what I saw previously from buying stuffs at one of the outlets of Healthlane Pharmacy... during the checkout I told the cashier I wanted to pay with Boost, she said yes, and then she logged in to the account and selected Boost and finally scanned my code using the little camera behind the terminal. I think some of the merchants who logged out and will only login when the customer wanna pay with Boost is probably because to avoid over usage of data, which was faced by one of the user here in Nando's. And since MP@y provides services like these, I think it will be easier for Boost to partner with KFC, since KFC's card terminal is also provided by MP@y, and it comes with a scanner beside the terminal (for the use of MP@y's prepaid card and app), the implementation of Boost might be easy, I guess. We shall wait then. |

QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Aug 21 2018, 02:41 PM) I second this, not much mainstream merchants support Boost yet.QUOTE(MANUTD676767 @ Aug 21 2018, 03:07 PM) Yaa they should and must extend... This is a good marketing strategy. If no CB do you think people will spend more True haha, I'm only using for the CB lol.QUOTE(ronnie @ Aug 21 2018, 03:09 PM) very unlikely... We'll see how it goes after 31st August.3,000,000 Boosties Assuming 25% active members who performs 1 max cashback per day = Each Day RM7.5 million cash back to be given out 3 million Boosties is nothing if most of them aren't active users or not enough merchants are using Boost as a payment method. |

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Aug 27 2018, 10:17 AM) lol, of course i agree. when there’s free money at razerpay we go, free money at wechat pay we go, free money at tng app, we go. then we abandon once we take all the benefits There's nothing wrong with the execution, it's the planning..For TnG, the only merchant available is KK Mart which is quite limited, when I asked the promoter when can you use the app to replace the TnG card, they told me it's not ready yet, maybe not even next year. Btw, anyone experienced a glitch with Boost before? My friend paid with Boost last week, but the amount wasn't deducted but the merchant received the payment and she received cashback too. |

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Aug 27 2018, 10:35 AM) The only glitch that I encountered with boost so far is no shake reward after some trx! That trx is under the valid trx category for shake reward Ah, ok..QUOTE(talexeh @ Aug 27 2018, 10:47 AM) Yep, plus it's claimable since it's a company purchase.. |
