They're different lol, Boost and Maybank QR are e wallets while Samsung Pay is mobile payment.

If you really wanna compare between these three, then of course Samsung Pay has the widest coverage because it works on most card terminals, and Maybank QR is the worst.

Just update your Fave app and you can see the option under My Payment. then you can Fave Pay via Boost and get free Shakes.. (need to go in the Shake session to claim your shake)..

Speaking of Favepay, Android users are waiting for fingerprint authentication, even pin authentication isn't available for us yet. iOS users lucky lah to have Touch ID supported on Favepay.

I can't really brain how these different brands of eWallet can come to an agreement to work together. rclxub.gif

Soon we're gonna see Fave allows payment via Boost which will charge into GrabPay & so on & so forth. biggrin.gif

Because Fave and Boost already collaborated for quite some time now, they first collaborated so Fave can sell their vouchers on Boost.

I see nothing wrong with them taking the collab further, they're currently the best e wallets in our market.

But I'm still wondering if I should use Boost as payment method on the next time I use Favepay, isn't it easier if we just go for the original way which is straight deducting the amount from our card?

What makes Favepay better is that the amount can just be straight deducted from our card instead of reloading it.

So far, I did not tried that. Coz this is how I reload boost.
Use Credit Card to Reload BigPay, then use BigPay to reload Boost. Tried Stand Chart Just One Plat CB Card and PBB Quantum MasterCard and both give me cashback for BigPay.

To be frank, i will not store my CC info in Fave anymore. Some fraudulent transaction happened on my Fave Account recently and the Customer Care blamed me I might purchased these deal by incidents.. but in fact it is done via system end... ..(long story with their Customer Service Team and still not resolved... ) thus I removed my CC info from Fave already.. Good to see they partnered with Boost and at least Boost provided PIN Authentication for each transaction.

On top of any partner cashback on Fave, you’ll also earn Boost cashback through Boost Shake Rewards and no risk of saving Credit Card on Fave since Fave did not have any pin authentication in their Android app.

Even without fraudulent case I don't like FAVE, many times I have mistakenly make purchases because there is no verification for our purchases. Now I make sure after I use, I change to a non existent online bank.

Some of you may have received this promo.

My son and daughter received theirs around Jul 19 via email. It's not visible in-app. They've both purchased RM5 topups two days ago and received their RM5 cashbacks yesterday.

Even though I did not receive that email, I decided to try anyway and bought RM5 topup yesterday. Surprisingly I also received the RM5 cashback today.

You may want to try your luck too. The cashback shows up as "Cashback Bonus" in Transaction History.

I guess this isn't applicable to everyone LOL. No RM5 cashback for me so far.

Same here but still got time, my wife reloaded RM5 yesterday but nothing yet. Seems to be quite slow today, I'm still waiting for 2 x KK cashbacks and 1 x 11street cashback.

Boost does state "next working day". Maybe that's why. But I thought I've received cashback on a weekend before.

Basically their biggest problem here is the lack of security authentication for transactions, which is the most basic thing for e wallet and mobile payments.

Also, another thing I don't like about Favepay is I need to hand my phone over to the cashier for them to copy down some sort of transaction code, it's supposed to be me showing my phone to them of the screen showing the transaction is successfully made instead.

Bolded part: Hmm... that's not what most merchant did for my case? I just need to show them my screen & they'll refer to their phone for confirmation. Maybe your merchants just wanted to play it safe?

I did. After that, I got my wife and a few others (who did not receive the email) to try. My wife hasn't received her cashback. Not sure the others.

Or maybe they didn't have a dedicated phone for e wallet purposes?

The only merchant that did the right way (which is having me showing my screen and they refer to their phone for confirmation) was Paparich. Other than that, literally every merchants needed to take my phone and key in the code to their cash register system.

If they wanted to be safe, I do understand, but it means the process took a bit longer than just paying with cash and it felt a bit uncomfortable by handing over my phone to cashiers every time. I'm not sure if it's Fave's fault or the merchant's fault, but they should really sort this out.
