I am also wondering if the same thing will happen at Tesco or not. Went to 99 Speedmart in Kajang and the cashier said Boost? Belum lagi

Fyi, 99 speedmart uses a dedicated phone to scan your code and usually only the supervisor or manager can access it, that's why you get tons of bullshit excuses from the cashiers.

Tesco uses a dedicated scanner by GHL, it's already there and it's already there. No excuses shall be tolerated.

I already saw the Boost stickers at Tesco (at least the one nearest my area) for weeks already..
But few days ago when I asked if i can pay by Boost.. they said the system is not ready yet...
I wonder if it's on right now...

And for the 99... the two excuses I often hear is "only manager can do" and "line's down..."

Kenny Rogers Roasters @IPC, i had to wait for cashier to turn on device, luckily device is charged, so i waited patiently for device to boot up and scan.

So far I only saw the dedicated scanner by GHL at self checkout counters only.

At my place all Tesco cashier has GHL scanner. But I didn't see any Boost logo. Of course I ask whether accept Boost or not. Cashier face like Huh ? Boost is Mars currency?

Typical issue.. At this point, I blame the managers or supervisors of such branches. Unless they are employing thieves. They should be able to trust and empower cashiers.. What's so hard to train staff and leave the device with them..

The Tesco near my area doesn't have self checkout counters but most of the counters have the GHL scanner.

Haha...I once asked if the scanner can be used, cashier said not sure.

Probably have to wait until when there's a sticker showed at the counter.

No. Because I didn't see any Boost logo displayed.
The self checkout menu doesn't have Boost logo to select also.

Want to ask.. the RM4500 monthly applies for:
1) spend and cash out (total RM4500 per month) or
2) RM4500 monthly for spend + another RM4500 monthly for cash out = RM9000 monthly..
