The website stated that only NSK Kuchai Lama can get 50% CB by paying with BOOST. Earlier I still plan to go NSK Klang. Sad.
*
woah...they update the list everyday
they expect us to check the list before we spend ?

the new list is still not stable. some merchants are being added or removed

Went Dubuyo yesterday and dine at there cos saw 50% banner there. When I mentioned payment through boost and they took the machine from their drawer, maybe not many people using boost.
*
i hate some merchants purposely kept the device offline . when i wanted to pay via boost, then the cashiers only slowly took the device from drawer and started connecting. sometimes the connection would take more than 5mins. just imagine, if there some other customers queuing behind, they would ask you to pay by cash. this happened to me a few times. now i hv already learned that i insist asking them to reconnect the device 2nd time if the first attempt fails .

from my last experience at nando's, even the machine is turn on (not sure is that consider as connected not) the process seems took quite long as well. guess 3-5x slower when use cc
*
i guess the machine was on, but it was logged off. so the nando’s cashier needed to log in with password and it took a little bit extra time
as for my experience in wendys, the machine was not on the table at all. the cashier took out the machine from drawer, pluged it with a power adapter, then started to connect it . it took so long to connect until customers piled up behind and i was forced to fork out cash to pay. i then went to their website and submitted a feedback form. the next time i visited the same outlet again, i noticed that the machine was available on the cashier table, and was already switched on and logged in with standby mode, before i ordered my meal

I take it that this was the kinda of payment where they needed to scan your QR code instead of you scanning the merchant's? There's this restaurant that I frequent in Penang where the boss didn't pass the phone to the cashier so every time I make payment via Boost, all they can do is to take a look at my phone screen & trust that I've made the payment. I told them that this is kinda risky for them but they just shrug their shoulders. biggrin.gif
*
some merchants (very limited) display their Boost QR code at the counter and let customers to scan and enter the amount, like favepay method. i personally prefer this way

i guess Boost users hv learned from their past experience...if we wanna pay via boost at counter, choose the “right time”, when no other customers at the counter smile.gif smile.gif

Then they will sure be some morons key in lesser amount.
*
there is another type where i use my BOOST App to scan the merchant’s QR code, then the amount is automatically shown in my boost app, and i just need to enter passcode

QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Aug 13 2018, 11:15 AM)
Another thing is report it to the merchant or Boost, let them know the issue. If the whole payment process isn't convenient, don't expect more ppl to join and stick with Boost.
*
I always did that whenever i encountered obstacles to use boost
that’s why my 2nd visit to the same wendys outlet was a smooth process
