Highest I get is rm5 too, lowest I get is rm0.2. However there are a few times without any shake reward

It’s good when it lasts. 50% cashback campaign also ending soon.

Not sure if Boost can keep up the hype after this. IMO the entire payment with boost process is still less convenient than using cash or credit card.

Would you still use Boost without the 50% cashback campaign? Personally my experience with Boost so far hasn’t been all pleasant. Like just now I went to teppanyaki to have lunch, the cashier obviously does not know how to use the device, went all the way into the kitchen, came out after 2 minutes, power up the device, took another 2 mins, I was lucky there isn’t a queue behind me just now, else it will be disastrous.

Totally agree. Boost does not seem to make it easy for merchants to use the payment platform as well.

Why not just fix the boost terminal at the cashiers desk, integrate the boost terminal with the pos system, after cashier enter my trx I can just scan my Boost QR code to complete my payment, that will make my whole Boost experience more pleasant...

Now the merchant need to manually key in the amount,
Then I need to flash the QR code and the merchant need to hold the boost terminal and try to scan my code...kinda inefficient if you ask me.

There are two types of boost payment method that I have encountered so far. One type if you open up your QR code and the merchant will key in the amount and scan your code. The second type is that you need to scan their QR code and key in the amount manually, after that I have to show the cashier that the payment went through.

Personally I would prefer the first method, but issues like merchant does not know how to use the boost terminal, boost terminal not switched on, cash register not integrated with boost terminal etc makes me prefer the second method more at the moment.

I hope Boost can spend some effort to make the payment process for the first method run more smoothly.

Yeah you still need a terminal or device to scan the QR code. Only one merchant so far didn’t use Boost terminal, I think they had Boost integrated to their payment system, hence they are using their barcode scanner to scan my QR code.

That merchant is mbg fruit shop. Best experience using boost at that merchant.

Have anyone encountered missing shake rewards before? Sometimes if I didn't immediately shake after making a trx, the shake reward is gone after.
