im using raytect tinted, their service is good, they will tell u detail about their tinted and u can feel the test heat, can customised tinted also.. can discuss about price and ask for discount... and also get 7 years waranty..

If not 90% above..IMO better don't waste money.

I only been to Raytech Cheras. Since my car is new, they can't mess up the installation anyway. The service is good albeit salesgirl kinda pushy to get higher range.

True test of workmanship is when they deal with older car with dirt and old tints. This if screw up or done poorly, the dirts will trap in your new tint.

I went to SS2 branch 3mths back, when asked for quote, they recommend me lowest good spec 1st, then only move up when I asked for better spec.

Good service, and they did remember to ask me about my original tint, so to double layer for cheaper price.

I did windscreen there last month.

Not bad lah..got a small bubble/something at the corner not very visible unless very near. so i didnt bother to go back to change.
If u not satisfied u can go change it (as many times) until u satisfied

Raytech sucks. Broke 3 out of 4 door latch covers (interior ones) cannot secure back properly and didn't tell me also. After 3 years the rear glass tint is full of bubbles. Spent RM1.5k on it 4 years ago. Will not consider them as good or reasonable.

Honestly, TS, don't try to go cheap with tinting. Get the cheap ones and you're gonna be like all the cars with bubbles under the film. Get tinting from a reputable source even if it's more pricey. I tinted my car at a shop in subang for Rm1000 8 years ago and still clear as day. Nowadays, I think decent tint also costs less already. So shop around.

Last time I faced some problem with a branch in another state, contacted the guy in Garage sales, he help settle for me.

Some people have false idea about tint. They think once everything dark 100% can block out the heat.

did my tinting at cannycool, took the top spec tint, the tint was OK, not as good as my previous car on 3M Cyrstaline 70 la, but she did admit that before i proceed further, i'm ok with it since i'm paying less than half for what i had at 3M. Heat rejection is good, clarity is decent.

But my only gripe is the workmanship, her workers are not i'd say customer friendly, my windscreen and one of my side window tint had scratches and trapped dust in them, the person who did the tint couldn't be bothered to protect the dashboard when tinting, had watermarks all over the place, after tint, the windscreen and windows are hella cloudy and after everything dried, tons of watermarks on them as well, i had to do some scrubbing to get rid of them.

Compared to 3M, workmanship was near flawless, superb clarity right after tinting, no wet or watermarks anywhere.

My take, canny tints are OK if you're on a limited budget, if not, get the top specs of big brand names and choose outlets with a decent clean room where they do the installations.

I did my tinting at raytech Puchong. I think service is good. salesperson explain everything to me and he didn't push me to get expensive one. he'll suggest you according to your budget

Yup I wish to say nice things bout Raytech puchong but they also broke door cover and it took me few times to service centre complaining bout the door rattle issue. And yes they didn't tell me. And yes it not professional at all consider that I'm paying 2K+

Did it at their serdang HQ. Heat tested all types of film including competitors. Whether that’s the film they give is subject for debate. I mean how would we know right? But so far so good.

I do mine I think 4 years or 5 years now, after 2 years the tinted became colourless.

My car cheap tint only. I ask the car salesperson to do for me. 5 years since out of shop (may 2013) and not a single bubble or torn.

macam Raytech provided 7 years warranty also not bad no need to go extra budget to Vkool. Did you hear of Armorshield security tinted that anti window break?

Yup, same thing here. Bought highest range (u70 and centurion Rx), total 3k. But park under hot a while, the car become microwave d. Not sure how is other brand performance, so I can't really bash raytech.

But i am disappointed with the performance

Same here. Paid rm1400 but quality even loose to those not famous brand name less than rm1k did on my previous car. very disappointed. quality I m referring to the heat rejection.

Please tell me which brand can prevent car hot when parked under hot sun.

haha, even my 3k 3M tint also damn sucks, those branded ones really noob la, i feel like even those house brand rm500 tint also better than the crappy 3M tint i hav

No need waste time. I complain and kena label Raytech attacker. Instead of pacifying customers, keep on putar halim say tint no problem, any car tint also will be hot bla bla, add additional layer la but must pay.

A lot of kawan2 supporter in there. Act like neutral but actually is kawan or supporter.

That's why when ppl ask about Raytech in there all keep quiet and promoter will come out do promotion. No law to catch or dispute the spec mentioned.

Well,building tint...cheap big good ...can last up to 10-15 years.you don't feel the heat at all for 1 hours ...just warm jer...how I know ,because my ex wira use building tint.

As for my current vkool elite...at least 2 times better than stupid raytech.park 45 minutes under bright hot sun....the dashboard just feel hot yet able to put your hand on top of it.

You pay premium,but get lousy quality tint ...how would you feel .the quality is same par as those rm4xx no brand tint.

K/ Tak minta banyak ....cuma when you charge people premium, at least shows that the performance it is way better than those average no brand tint.

If you see raytech seller here in lowyat....all their tint specifications so good la until can promise like heaven.

I did mine at Raytech Puchong 4 years ago.

My cousin brother then had good relations with them, so i managed to get a RM1300 tint at the price of RM900. They were also very nice, they recommended me a tint with all the concerns I had (i.e. won't get stopped by police but can block around 70% of the heat)

My car has no problems with smart tag, and is very cool when the weather outside is damn hot. Till now the screen still very clear, no bubbles or anything 😁

Iinm the owner/manager/sales guy forgot his nick is in lyn. Raytech and CannyCool are compatitors in the cheap tint market.

Raytech is Genuine company which selling genuine products to customers. We believe there has some misunderstanding about heat performance.
For your information, none of the window film brand has automobile film make your car "not HOT" after parking under the extreme hot sun more than 30 minutes. The heat will trap inside the car and become hotter and hotter. This called "Green House Effect". It is only about which brand of tinted film can keep the lowest temperature. From my personal experience, RAYTECH RX take only 5 minutes to cool down my car, although I park my car for several hours :）

Below is a real meter testing video about what's the temperature after parking long time under hot sun and how's window film helps :
It is mandarin version, you can try to understand the meter testing part:



Summary of video:
1. The temperature in the car will increase gradually after parking for long time. It's called "Green house effect".
2. For no tinted car, the temperature in car may increase to 62 C after parking for long time.
3. For Tinted car, the temperature in car may increase to 42 C after parking for long time.
4. Don't leave your kids or pets inside the car because after 10 minutes they might have danger in life.
5. For tinted car, 5 minutes can cool down the car. Without tinted, need at least 20 minutes to cool down the car.

Please stop your nonsense! A good company, can only solve genuine customer problem, but not person that keep pumping in fake statement and news without proof for over 6 months and over 30 fake post just to jeopardize a company name and goodwill. Your actions is obviously fishy and over.

lord gitsy, few years back naza did ecotint for my car, i did sign some ecotint invoice, and suppose mail me but they didnt mail warranty card to my place. how to check their warranty and type they used? can check via plate nos?thanks

Went from Vkool Elite to raytech Qx series.... Did not expect it to be Vkool good but it's pretty up there....Can't complain as it's half the price of the Vkool variation I had before....lol..

I just did tinting for my new car this week at Raytech Cheras, expensive but IRR is good, can’t feel the heat from outside compared to my previous car. Now I know why good tint costs so high.

Did my tint on my saga vvt here a month ago. Got rm350 voucher from proton. tint is ok but got silvering at the dot matrix area at rear winsheild.

I went for 3M. Consider expensive but worth the money. For the past 3 years my car have been parked outdoor only with no roof. The tint still can block most of the heat from outside.

i really like their lifetime warranty commitment for bubble peeling and fading
their crystalline it block both uva and uvb even high spectrum light but one of the cons
was it will distort some of the car headlights if you use it for you windscreen
for windscreen i went for their ultra clear

all tint will reduce the heat blocking capability after few years.

of coz they will say irr tser blabla. but that is DURING the installation.

try go back after few months, they wont even let u borrow their heat rejection detector. coz they know it wont be same as advertised.

IRR and TSER is just a marketing gimmick. no local government or independent bodies are monitoring this standards so this cincai shops can make cincai claims.

I used Raytech for 2 cars

Expensive, but good service and long lasting (will not bubble even after 5-6 years)

For reference follow-up:

Mine is 12 years now on my 16 years old City, chose the highest spec back then RM600 done front tint and not even a small bubble now.
