Mine's almost 15k on the clock now, and almost 2 years old. There are some quality issues no doubt, and they surface from time to time, but so far, no engine issues on mine. If you're a hands on dude, should be no issues maintaining the bike, it's a fairly simple piece of machine, well-priced.

Tenaga Motor is located in Taman Tenaga Cheras and they are a key Benelli dealer, I bought mine there.

Mostly send my bike to Mforce at Segambut if parts need replacement or oil filter change.

Thanks for the information. As I understand that currently MFORCE is the distributor for Benelli. What is the process and how well does MFORCE handle quality / warranty related issues based on your experience with them? What's the average waiting time and spare parts availability from MFORCE?

What about the after sales and service of Tenaga Motor? Does it have the experience technical expertise person to handle that?

Did you try to ride more than 400km on this machine?

Sorry for lots of questions and concern .

1. MForce in Segambut KL holds some parts, otherwise they'll order it from Penang HQ which may take up to a week or two.
2. Tenaga's after sales service is pretty decent. If you bought the bike from them, minor adjustments or repairs they'll sometimes just do it FOC.
3. More than 400km in one go? No. A 7L full tank only takes you 250km at most, and my butt's not made of steel either. The furthest travel in a day was up to Genting via Batangkali, and back via Karak. No issues.

My latest issues are a loose cable to open the seat with the key - that's fixed, the cable was detached somehow (fixed at Tenaga), and some rust water dripping to my engine block caused by some rusted part above the engine which I'm yet to find out where.

next month I celebrate 2 year with my ben.

I am a daily rider, also service my self on changing engine oil and oil filter, I only bring to workshop alternately because I need workshop to help me adjust chain.

I don't face major problem apart from clutch control cable broken after 2-month ride and valve broken after 1.5 year later.
engine all smooth

I personally feel the stock tire a bit slippery on the wet floor. currenly rear tire almost botak and plan to change a new one. Any recommendation for daily rider and more stable during rainy day?

some recommend michelin city grip, any input for this?

Oh ya... a lot collection of nice photo here: https://www.facebook.com/MYBenelliTNT135/ good for you all to cuci mata and find an idea for mod

update: for those look for TNT135 petrol consumption record. I had track it my self. Here my review

I have Michelin City Grip for both front and back. My feel is that it's a bit grippier than the stock Metzeller 7teens, not sure about the tyre life yet. No issues in the wet so far.

Thanks for the information. I never own a bike before thus I feels it's better to have the complete overview from ownership, maintenance and ride experience before diving into getting one.

As for the long distance like from KL to Penang, did any of you experience it with the TNT? Not in one go but more of traveling on that distance in a day. Would the engine, carb intake and ECU be able to handle that kind of endurance ride? As for comfort we know it does not built for that type of ride, but would modification of seat make it better.

From what I saw the owner shared in FB page, loose bolt and nut is common issue especially on gear shift and clutch cable.

Any bike can do long distance ride. The question is - is the ride can?

I used to ride Honda C50 (that classic cub) from JB to Kota Bharu every semester break. That was in early 1990s.

Never owned a bike? Well, then.... riding interstate may be a little challenging. Most importantly is riding safe, and riding prepared. Small bikes are not ideal for long distances, not because they can't, but they're designed for short commute. Highways are fraught with uncertainties, and larger, more equipped bikes have a better chance to deal with these situations, eg acceleration, stability, protection, braking power.

Small bikes like these will need to keep way left most of the time, and large overtaking vehicles may give you goosebumps. Yes, the engine will take you there, but in the absence of better reliability, I wouldn't take the TNT too far. If I had to travel long distances and only want to buy a small bike, I'd go with a 150cc cub or a scooter like the N-max. And don't forget a good helmet with visor, rainjacket and a pair of riding gloves.

Handlebar vibration at high speeds eg 100kmh above, is also an issue for small bikes, so to be comfortable, you'd best be riding around 80-90, with multiple stopovers.

thank for sharing
I personally feel that stock Metzeler is good for the dry road, but I still slow down pretty much like old man at corner (probably getting older, getting not that steady like old time)

old time when I rider moped, daily rider, at least can ride 2.5 to 3 year only tire start to botak. but this stock Metzeler, less than 2 year, botak already.

let me change to Michelin City Grip next month, and share more detail after use.

oh ya, how much is your Michelin City Grip for both front and back?
I asking before accessories shop, those like distributor type (not workshop, only sell parts), front RM160, rear RM163

Bought mine at NKS sentul rm200 each supply n install. They're not the cheapest, but didn't have too much time to hunt around, anything less is good.

Great review thank you, thinking about getting a TNT when I move to Sabah.
Do you still have your bike and any update on how it is going.
Cheers

Well my TnT 135 is reaching 2 years old. Have claimed warranty on my bike many times. the bike is good i blame my self for treating it like a Big bike in terms of how i ride. Always remember the bike chooses you. Ride safe guys.
