Yes, need to read medical journal. Opinion on medical always change from time to time because what was right then might not be right on recent discovery. The cholesterol is produced by your body about 70% and the other 30% is from food. Most cholesterol medication is statin base and it has many side effects too. You can Google it. What the drug does is just to cheat your brain by telling your body has enough cholesterol already. Your body reaction is to reduce or stop cholesterol production.

On the uric acid, what is your favorite food or drink that you usually take? Do you always take seafood, drink and juices like orange, grapes or do you like soft drinks?

Nope. It was just normal clinic doctor that talk to me. Medical is always something mystery. You can ask doctor as short question even if yo go to clinic for flu. I think they do not mind giving simple brief explanation. To prepare for questions, you can Google first.

I think the soya is the cause for your high uric acid, I would suggest lower the soya intake and check the result.
