QUOTE(gemukk @ Mar 27 2019, 03:13 AM) Dealing with service provider can sometimes be tricky. We (me and my wife) wanted to change plans from Maxis postpaid ($128+$48+$48) to Hotlink Postpaid ($30, $40+$40). Can PM to share the draft letter to MCMC? isI have read the Term and Conditions and went to Maxis Centre to change our plans. But alas, we were given excuses i.e. we need to change to Hotlink Prepaid first before change to Hotlink Postpaid for at least 1 month (or 6 month when I spoke to their customer service hotline 123). We were also told that Hotlink Postpaid is not for prefix 012. When asked why is all this not stated in the Terms and Conditions, the answer was not all is mentioned in the Terms and Condition; and it is stated in the FAQ. Ridiculous right? If you don't mentioned it in the Terms and Conditions, then it is not a Condition. Also, if the FAQ forms parts of the Terms and Conditions, then in the Terms and Conditions, it should have mentioned that FAQ is part and parcel of the document. Hotlink Postpaid Flex have 3 separate documents that forms it's Terms and Conditions, namely and accordingly to its importance is Service Specific, General and Summary. Service Specific Terms and Conditions (SSTC) - Hotlink Postpaid Flex. https://www.hotlink.com.my/ms/tnc/plan-serv...d-flex-tnc.html General Terms & Conditions of Service(s) (GTC). https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/tnc/general-tnc.html Summary Terms And Conditions of Maxis Services(s) (STC). https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/tnc/summary-tnc.html I lodged a formal complaint with Maxis and give them 7 days to resolve this amicably. After several calls on day 1 and day 3, and them failing to give me an answer with regards to their own Terms and Conditions and actual practice, I have doubt that this will be resolved. So I detailed the incidents and email to MCMC and also state that Maxis have another 4 days left to resolved this with me. Tuesday, after 8 days, Maxis called and told me that the management have given approval. In my mind, "wow, we got a special approval for something as simple as changing plans, finally". Morale of the story is, always read the fine line. You never knew when it may be use in your advantage. It's about time more people report them to MCMC for this ridiculous restriction |

Is Maxis giving the same treatment and privilege for 4G speed to Hotlink Postpaid and MaxisOne Postpaid ?
The 4G speed for Hotlink Postpaid seems to be always slower than MaxisOne real postpaid? |
