But anyway, I believe an urgent revamp of the Hotlink Postpaid Flex Plan is necessary due to Hotlink Unlimited Prepaid has made this Hotlink Postpaid Flex kind of redundant. Some capped speed is fine since they want to keep the best of everything to the expensive Maxis Postpaid. Here’s to hoping we will hear we will hear new changes coming to Hotlink Postpaid Flex soon.

Yup can confirm now the phone I'm using on Hotlink Flex I took it to other places to test and it went upto 60Mbps so it means the place I'm based now is highly congested with Maxis users.

The 1GB quote after used it seems still have internet but at limited speed correct? Got FAQ on the speed?

For updates, I just have conversation with Maxis, Hotlink Postpaid Flex number can be selected only 017 prefix based on the availability. 012 prefix number registration only exclusive for maxis postpaid from RM98 plan and above. I think Maxis try to rebrand 012 prefix number as premier and exclusive status. Is just like when you own an Apple phone, Mercedes or BMW for car, it will increase other people perception and status towards you.

So, those with 012 prepaid number, make sure you do not forget to top up or else your might to sign up expensive plan in order to get back the number..  

It was quite annoying then, almost every week sure got unknown people calling up, property auction invitation sms, ads coming in few times. I ignored all of them and have no time to follow each and every one of them to tell them that this number does not belong to the aunty anymore.

Until today once in a while the ads and TNB unsettled bill warning SMS are still coming in..

Ok problem solved. I have contact with Maxis about this problem and their feedback is their billing system randomly choose the bill cycle and not by Maxis staff. I have requested Maxis to prorate the RM 10 add on bill but it is not allowed instead waive the RM10 for me..

RM60 Hotlink Prepaid Video vs RM63.60 (SST included) Hotlink Postpaid. The only thing missing is unlimited SMS but compensated by 10GB more video data allowance.

Hotlink Postpaid and Fibre subscribers need not to rethink your subscription though as you’re on a very good bundle postpaid plan. Some of the best available in the market, if not the best.

Assuming Maxis Postpaid do get priority connection, the green card shown above won’t get it because I noticed that’s a Hotlink Postpaid account. The system will recognise your account plan, not the color of your SIM. They are supposed to send out a red sim since it’s for Hotlink Postpaid, but some staffs just grab whatever sim they see, scan the barcode to the system and link your number to the SIM card.
Have you checked out the new Hotlink Prepaid Video ? There is a monthly pass that you need to pay only RM60 and you get 10GB data + 20GB video data + unlimited calls. For Hotlink Postpaid, you pay RM63.60 (inclusive of SST) but you get 10GB less video data (YouTube). Hotlink Postpaid however, comes with unlimited SMS too whilst Hotlink Prepaid doesn’t.

Hotlink Prepaid's speed seems very slow (3Mbps or 6Mbps).

My Hotlink Postpaid able to get ~70Mbps.

Hotlink Postpaid 30 1Gb data is useless.. just 1 hour  can finished. Why want to take postpaid if prepaid is much better.

Do hotlink postpaid user need to do petition demand Maxis for plan revision?      If don't like just port out..
