If you have been with Hotlink Postpaid for more than 6 months, you get double of the data plan. So Hotlink Postpaid better deal if you have no shared line and don't care about device deals.
Hotlink postpaid roaming rates are more expensive than Maxis Postpaid but I also have CD Kuning as secondary line. CD has better roaming rates, regardless prepaid or postpaid. So whenever I roam, I will subscribe to CD roaming plans.

QUOTE(YoungMan @ Oct 9 2024, 08:16 PM) Maxis postpaid 109 and above all become unlimited data. I wonder what's the point of getting any plan above 109 now Why pay more than Postpaid 109 if it is already unlimited? Maxis says you’ll get better device deals and higher share-line allocations for supplementary lines. I am sure CelcomDigi surprised with this move by Maxis. Let's see how they respond. CelcomDigi postpaid plans are crap with speed tier for different plans (although I know they haven't implemented it but have the right to do so whenever they want)

QUOTE(SydneyKL @ Jun 18 2025, 05:23 PM) Does anyone know if switching from the Maxis Postpaid 79 plan to Hotlink Postpaid 60 or 70 plan requires changing the SIM Card? Currently 4G SIM Card and plan to switch to the Hotlink plan for budgeting purposes. Not required. Can use the same sim. I did this late last year.

QUOTE(matow @ Aug 11 2025, 11:04 AM) Anyone received their Free 5GB 30 Days free pass for August 2025? Sudah tarik ka? Update. I checked my account using the web, there's a new free pass for "Free 1200GB for 365 days" internet pass. Just activated it and it is shown in my internet balance. Is the 1200GB at reduced speed? Do you still get to keep this free pass if downgrade to the cheapest Hotlink Postpaid Plan (RM30)?

QUOTE(!@#$%^ @ Sep 21 2025, 06:56 PM) hi anybody had experienced of overpayment? when i wanted to port out hotlink asked me to pay so and so which i did. but when the official bill came, turns out it's overpaid. any method to claim it? I had same experience. I ported out from Hotlink Postpaid and they also asked me to pay an amount before port out and I did. When official bill came, it was overpaid, around RM5 to RM8. I asked Maxis for refund and they said under their T&C, anything less than RM30, there is no refund. So, I filed a complaint with MCMC online and Maxis immediately refunded me. If Maxis tells you the same thing, then file a complaint with MCMC online.
