Using RM30 + 3GB data RM10 = RM40 for 2 weeks. So far satisfy the service.

My father is using this. Great i believe as he previously used celcom and now hotlink flex but no complain.

Stable and wide coverage. It using maxis network, so should be ok anywhere in Malaysia. Just it is not as cheap as other competitors like u mobile.

My gf just ported successfully to hotlink flex. It shows 6 days left. After subscribe 3GB. Also show 6days left. Other social also. Will it be calculated as prorated? Or I have to pay the full amount for 6 days use only ? :/

The payable bill should be prorated and usually the attached data quota unable to prorated so enjoy the max before it reset to new cycle.

asked CS and the add on are not prorated. Just paid RM25 for use of 5 days! super annoyed. But i asked them to extend my bill cycle to 28th. At least have 19 days left.

refers to my 1st bill, subscribed on 1st March, it's prorated.

I called CS asking.
She told me its per 10kb block.
Not 1MB block.

She even tells me it is impossible they will charge 1mb for a lets say 50kb usage.

Tested and confirmed they r charging using 10kb block.

The data usage recorded by Maxis is alMost d same as recorded by my phone data counter.
This will not happen if its 1mb block.
And if its 1mb block.
U won't see any data balance less than 1mb.

When you subscribe 3GB, it will utilize the 3GB first, after depleted then it will continue to use the 1GB from basic. Both are separated. But weird enough, my gf line only have 3GB now, the 1GB basic has gone. Probably due to changing cycle date. Perhaps basic 1GB expired with the original cycle date.. Already made a report and waiting to hear from them back.

If I port in to Hotlink red, how long have to wait before I can switch to Hotlink flex?

As its not unlimited or cheap data, I prefer it to be capped at certain speed instead, otherwise it will be wasted when load video, imagine when you watch a YouTube, it load much much faster few times than you are playing, when u think the video is bad and wanna skip yo next video, but instead the video already loading finished, you just wasted this unwatched part, data is used.

Hotline flex good for me too, hehe..But I don't complain and ask for super fast speed as my usage won't need that..So long the stable and don't buffer, it's great.
