Maxis One can straight downgrade to Hotlink Postpaid?
Or need to MNP out then in again?

Just saw this advertisement on Facebook. Looks interesting.

No details given yet at the moment. I'm in the midst of contacting customer service to find out more.

Update: Still no response from customer service, but I'm guessing that it is the RM60 Postpaid Plan with RM1 phone.

Customer Service called back yesterday evening. It is the Hotlink Postpaid 60 plan with 24 months contract if want RM1 phone. Pay RM50 per month for 12 months, after that RM60.

If not taking phone, can enjoy RM10 discount per month for 12 months, no contract needed. Plans eligible are:
Hotlink Postpaid 60 - RM50
Hotlink Postpaid 40 - RM30

If interested, need to send them student ID (must be student between 18-25 yo)

However, those currently using higher tier plan cannot downgrade, even Postpaid 40 to Postpaid 40 (with discount) also cannot.

Currently, I am under my father's Maxis Postpaid account, using Share 48 plan now.
To get this offer, how can I split out from main line? I plan to MNP out and in to Hotlink again, then sign up Postpaid 30 (so can upgrade).

Yeah, 18-25 years old with valid student ID.

Agree, a lot better plans out there. Even their own HUP35 beats it.
