exactly.. my case 4G+ cannot load anything and have to wait 4G.. sometimes okay.. sometimes not okay..
prepaid is always have better deals as prepaid ma.. but i dont like the feel to remember the topup & reload date.. so i prefer postpaid..

i barely used more than 10gb of data a month.. some of my friends are looking forward year end for any plan update/price change only make the changes..
my parents used Yoodo customized plan and hopefully this brand is continue to serve as it is consider prepaid but can have auto renewal with minimal monthly payments.. my grandma still using Nokie phone with RM5 per month for voice call only..

Tumpang ask2. Just ported out from Maxis to Hotlink prepaid, they told me 1 month cool-off period.

The past few weeks on Hotlink prepaid, I've been having navigation issue with Waze very frequently. My phone status shows 4G 3-4 bars, location service also working but somehow Waze will just lose GPS signal, it takes quite a long time to reconnect. (long enough to miss multiple junctions doh.gif)

Never had this issue when I was using Maxis, unless I lose 4G signal totally. To isolate the potential Hotlink issue, I tethered to another phone on Yoodo using hotspot. Cannot replicate this issue, so can most likely conclude not my phone or Waze's problem.

I was planning to change to Hotlink postpaid after the cool-off period, not so sure now. You guys have any insights on this issue?

And also asking. Do prepaid users get second tier citizenship treatment from telco? hmm.gif

never experience this before.. is that your normal route under city area or you went to somewhere off road?
technically prepaid and postpaid network are just the same.. maxis vs hotlink seem just have different market segment/target customers.. maxis target business users while hotlink target normal customers with affordable plan.

prepaid plan always attractive cause customer paid in advanced and they could enjoy extra benefits while postpaid customer use first pay later concept.. usually lesser benefits as customer might delay the payment or whatever.

It mostly happened in city areas, federal highway towards PJ, around Kerinchi link and also KL city centre area.

Not sure if it has anything to do with using the same Maxis sim card as before. Maxis rep told me no need to change sim card.
