Hmm, is there any noticeable difference between Maxis Postpaid and Hotlink Postpaid? In terms of phone call and data connection quality?

I have 1 Maxis Postpaid primary and 1 sub line.

I want to change to hotlink postpaid.

I was told that i cant change from maxis postpaid to hotlink postpaid.

So any alternatibe way i can do?

I have the same issue last time. Just port to DiGi prepaid first then from DiGi port to Hotlink Postpaid.

I just found out that hotlink prepaid also come with unlimited call. I will move to hotlink prepaid first the postpaid the next month. Or maybe will try on yoodo

I had similar issue. I don't know WTF is maxis problem. internally cannot switch. other telco OK.
Previously I was from Hotlink Prepaid to Postpaid - Can
Then I wanted from postpaid to OOKYO. Both maxis. But not allowed! Ookyo Said because mine is Postpaid. Cannot port in. But hotlink Pre-paid is allowed.

What kinda fking nonsense. Finally I ported out to YooDo. Got what I wanted.Plenty of Data. without the Ookyo VPN crap.

I have a question, are Hotlink Flex Postpaid Plus users capped at 30M?

Using Hotlink Postpaid Flex Plus Rm60 with 10GB data quota only but speed cannot exceed 30Mbps bot up/down 24/7 despite testing my speed with Maxis server.

Can anyone confirm? I test with DiGi, UMobile, Yes and Unifi Mobile all have 4G+ in my area with speeds over 80M but not my Hotlink Flex Plus.

RM60 + SST is not cheap and only given 10GB data monthly.

The hotlink flex free 1GB internet (8am - 6pm) daily has to go to apps and redeem daily right ?
XOX prepaid jus treat as recurring auto renew the daily subscription .

It’d be interesting to see how Hotlink is going to revamp the Hotlink Postpaid Flex Plan in coming weeks as current offering has become hugely uncompetitive with the launch of the new unlimited data passes for Hotlink Unlimited Prepaid and increased mobile data for Maxis Postpaid.

I downgraded my maxis one plan to hotlink postpaid flex. Didn't notice any difference so far.

Can you try do speedtest on your postpaid flex?
I noticed that maximum download speed from my iPhone is around 30mbps

On their promo leaflet I took from Maxis Centre last year, there was indeed mention that the internet speed for Hotlink Postpaid Flex is capped at 30Mbps.

that was unfair to hotlink postpaid flex user

But anyway, I believe an urgent revamp of the Hotlink Postpaid Flex Plan is necessary due to Hotlink Unlimited Prepaid has made this Hotlink Postpaid Flex kind of redundant. Some capped speed is fine since they want to keep the best of everything to the expensive Maxis Postpaid. Here’s to hoping we will hear new changes coming to Hotlink Postpaid Flex soon.

Yeah, the current HUP make the Postpaid Flex look dumb in terms of price and data allocation.

Hope Maxis will revamp Hotlink Postpaid Flex
Else will go Maxis Center and downgrade to Hotlink Unlimited Prepaid

Even you downgrade to Holink unlimited prepaid you can all always upgrade to flex back 😊

Ya but it seems like only able to downgrade to Hotlink Unlimited Prepaid by MNP out to other telco
then MNP back to this Hotlink Unlimited Prepaid
Will wait for another month to see Maxis going to revamp Hotlink Postpaid Flex or not
