QUOTE(July 2nd @ May 4 2019, 03:10 PM) Thanks for the link, but still wonder if upfront needs deposit? Something like 199+60+60? Not stated anywhere. I think no deposit needed. Just need advance payment. If you need more enquiries, you can contact Hotlink Customer service for more details.

there's still a lot of room of improvement for Hotlink. Maybe to add additional 1-2GB for just RM40 from what we are paying now.

QUOTE(propusers @ May 10 2019, 11:47 PM) another option is the hotlink red RM35 come with 6GB data.. my understanding compare with Hotlink Postpaid Flex RM40, hotlink red (RM35) is 1GB higher data... RM5 cheaper... the con is need to pay for call and sms Call: 15sen/30 sec (all local network) SMS: 15sen/sms (all local network) or Activ10 rates to 10 Hotlink/Maxis firends with rates of 6sen/30sec calls and 1sen/SMS. yes, but we have to always care about the validity!

QUOTE(Candy12 @ May 13 2019, 08:51 AM) Beg to differ. DiGi is way better than Maxis here at Kepong Manjalara and Bandar Sri Damansara In fact if you look at your jitter rate for Maxis it shows a spike of over 100ms. Very bad line quality there. At least 10X as worse than DiGi's. The ping rate not much difference la. Aiyah, the most important thing is stability and less congestion. So far no complaints on Maxis

We don't need VoLTE when it's not so stable! I still prefer Maxis line who are still stable!

QUOTE(GameSky @ May 21 2019, 11:55 AM) I tried to switch to hotlink prepaid via the hotlink switch to hotlink website. Bought a new simpack and when I already entered the details..clicked submit button but nothing happens. anyone else facing same thing? Tried on multiple browsers, different computers...same thing The best I always advice changing of plans / MNP is to go to Maxis Center (or authorized dealers) to do it. Not recommended to do online because it's slow and not so responsive (sometimes no response at all). This post has been edited by alexleow81: May 24 2019, 07:26 AM

QUOTE(donhue @ May 12 2019, 07:48 AM) Hotlink flex data is split into 2 pools.. 1 GB (balance shown on the circle in the app) + 4 GB (balance shown as text).. it will consume the 4GB first then only the 1 GB.. If you take the 10GB (RM60) Hotlink Postpaid Flex Plus, you will see directly 10GB in the datapool without splitting!

QUOTE(cappuccino vs latte @ Jun 3 2019, 10:19 PM) Apparently need to stay for 6 months only be allowed to switch back to prepaid. Can't find any mentioning in TnC. Yes. You have to stay half a year before you can port out from Postpaid Flex. Anyway, the line is stable and good, no reason to port out. I dun mind paying slightly higher with stable connection rather than a frustrating ones.

QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Jul 17 2019, 09:22 PM) Recently my line super bad, subang area. Anyone facing the same? Kepong and Sg Buloh area is OK. No issues on network. Maybe in Subang and Kajang area, it's pretty congested. Especially on hotlink because the hotlink package (postpaid flex or RED) is pretty competitive compared with other telco. I heard from Maxis, YES, they segregate their users. Maxis One Plan have better speed compared to Hotlink users who have lesser/slower speeds. Coverage wise is the same.

QUOTE(ykchow89 @ Jul 29 2019, 01:42 PM) I am currently on MaxisGo plan. So if I were to port to Hotlink Postpaid Flex, I can follow the above method and get it done within a week? MaxisGo -> Umobile P38 -> Hotlink Postpaid Flex 1 week? It depends on the cooling off period of U Mobile. Most telcos now implement a 30 days cooling off period before you can port out. Best is to go to U Mobile website and check out their T&C stated on their website.

QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Jul 29 2019, 03:49 PM) recently feel that the line is getting poorer, but if this is bad, others should be worst right? For me the line is still OK. No downtime or slowness detected so far. Pretty satisfied with it as the moment!

QUOTE(akafoz @ Aug 14 2019, 09:38 PM) I was checking out this plan, supposed to be 24 months contract https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/plan/hotlink-postpaid-flex/ But T&C seems changed to 12 months https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditi...act-non-iphone/ Weird.. 12 months seems too good to be true 12 months only applicable if you are using the Sabah/Sarawak plan only. Only can sign up if you are residing in Sabah/Sarawak. In Semenanjung Malaysia, 24 months contract applies. This post has been edited by alexleow81: Aug 15 2019, 10:47 AM
