where to find this?

i contacted maxis via whatsapp. the agent is very effective and professional.

at first maxis gave 6 months rebate. after I pleaded that i was a long time loyal maxis customer, they offered me 12 months rebate.

and after 3 days, I receive all the 5 sim and ready to switch over from Digi when my contract expires.

i had never communicated via whatsapp with an agent so effective in my whole life.

Hi Sifu,

Thinking of switching to hotlink postpaid 45 from my old celcom plan since celcom has stopped giving extra 20 gb.
CelcomDigi new plan Postpaid 5G 40 SE is marked at their so called 5G Essential speed tier which is limited to 100Mbps, seems barely can call it a 5G in my opinion.

May I know what the 5G speedtest result for hotlink postpaid 45 on a weekday office hours? the hotlinks CS seems to tell me the limit is 300 Mbps. Has anyone achieved better result than that?

I'm on the old Hotlink Postpaid 40, 5g speed test can go up to 500-600mbps when signal is on full bar. Should be the same for new postpaid 45 as there is no speed capping anounced.

No speed capping. In theory, you should get the same performance as Maxis 5G.

If it’s not a national outage, it could be downtime in certain areas. You can reach out to customer service for assistance. If you’re at home, you can also try using VoWiFi temporarily to receive the call while waiting for Maxis to rectify the issue.

Just to be kepoh here. How many of you on the old Hotlink Postpaid 40 choose to upgrade to new postpaid 45? How about those who choose to stay on old plan and why?
I'm still staying on the old Postpaid 40 just simply because I do not even finish my quota every month.

Yeah me too. Always have broadband at work and at home, hardly use any data unless going out, the free 5GB data also did not finish.
However, lately using a bit more to watch chinese drama because using unifi the "ahem" app keeps on buffering whereas using phone data smooth tongue.gif

Should I convert to Hotlink Postpaid 45 or U-Mobile 38?

Still in dilemma.

Previously had a good experience with U-mobile 38. So far, never face any issue. I'm usually around Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Kelana Jaya, Klang and Shah Alam.

I would like to experience other Telco. tongue.gif

Ok just noticed I got the same message too this afternoon. Will see how, maybe after 19 July or maybe during my quota reset in a few days time.

But, I checked with Twitter (X) customer service. They still insist the old version.

Regardless, postpaid 70 will automatically follow the current offer. Only the previous Hotlink 40 is old version being replaced with new Hotlink 45.
