Hey, i'm just wondering, what do most of you guys use for editing your photos? Have you guys ever tried using GIMP?
On a sidenote, i've wanted to use Photoshop...but then its a little expensive. Anyone know where to get it below market rate, or perhaps 2nd hand?

QUOTE(Andy0625 @ May 7 2007, 03:15 PM) Why not if it's for Personal use ? that kind of malaysian mentality have to stop. What makes "stealing" okay because it's for personal usage? So you are saying, if you are photoshop developer and selling it for RM2000 because your software is worth that price. I don't need to pay for your hardwork because I am "poor" and personal use only? Anyway, back to the question. Yes, use GIMP if you want free. Use PhotoGIMP if you are used to photoshop commands. <---google yourself Use paint.net if you want something easier to use than GIMP. <--- also free...google yourself.

if you use 10k pc hardware, can you afford to buy ori one? but if you use only sempron 2400+, do you want to buy ori 2k software?

For some minor tweaking, IrfanView is good enough. If you want to go a little deeper like masking, then try out Photoshop Elements 5.0. It's more affordable. Only RM268.
