Morning guys. I want to know what is the best wet grip tyre for 235/50/18. Its for my forester. I'm thinking F1 Asym 3 as an major option now. With PS4 i can't find any suitable size even though I'm actually like it.

Get the Hankook V12 Evo 2, it's available for your size, it's much cheaper yet it managed to beat the F1A3 in the latest comparison test in the US!

Thanks. Which shop you go buy the v12 evo2 tyre?

ps4 can 245/45/18 which can be used or 235/50/18 v12evo2 available.
yokohama v701 is available for your size.

Unfortunately i just bought 18" te37 rim with 7.5jj. Max width is 235. I want the ps4 but no size available for suv. If sedan can straight away get it sad.gif

Michelin Primacy SUV. Are you driving the XT model with original size of 225/55/18? If non-XT model which comes with 225/65/17, changing to 235/50/18 would be a big difference in speedometer and overall odometer reading. At 70km/h, you would actually be doing only 67 km/h.

I'm driving the non-XT model and will be changing to 235/60/18 next week, which would be 71.5 kmh when speedometer reads 70 kmh. Am still considering between Primacy SUV or Falken ZIEX950 ...

For non-SUV tires, can SUV use them like PS4?

I'm driving non-XT model. The stock size is 225/60/17. So its still okay if I choose 235/50/18 or 225/55/18. Smaller by 1.1%.

Yeap. Quite odd indeed.

Using yoko geolandar on my harrier. Thinking of changing to Continental, can I use passenger tyres on suv?
*
U can try as long it match with your current size but off coz can't go offroad with that tyre. I'm waiting my current tyre bald then only change to 18' wheels. Might go for the v12 evo 2...

Hahaha yeah of course, it is indeed a higher level tire than the MC5 yet at a cheaper price right?
Give it some run in time then the grip will be even better.
*
Yup, need time to run in 1st. Just drive from shah alam to melaka. So far it perform better. Just my aligment man doen't like directional tire. Hard to troubleshoot than asymmetric tire.

Yeah they say directional tire is more difficult to align straight but I think not an issue. Mine just drives straight as normal.
Whoa nice rims man!  thumbup.gif
*
Yup hard to align especially japanese car can't adjust camber the rear wheel (only toe can be adjusted). 4wd suppose to have adjustable camber on all wheel so that it can get the best traction. Only German made car have this option as a stock car. Very easy to do alignment smile.gif . Thanks bro. It took a while to find the rim with pcd 5 x 100. Quite rare I believe unless go shopping in Japan sweat.gif

Which tyre is best choice for Mercedes GLC? Run Flat tyre is not good for that due to the noise. Thank for valuable recommendation.
