Morning guys. I want to know  what is the best wet grip tyre for 235/50/18. Its for my forester. I'm thinking F1 Asym 3 as an major option now. With PS4 i can't find any suitable size even though I'm actually like it.

Get the Hankook V12 Evo 2, it's available for your size, it's much cheaper yet it managed to beat the F1A3 in the latest comparison test in the US!

You can try check with this seller, they often post selling V12E2 inn mudah and their prices seem one of the cheapest.

I remember there's another cheap one, Kopet Garage, but then you mentioned they were not good, giving different stuff than what's promised on the phone right?

Yeap. Quite odd indeed.

Using yoko geolandar on my harrier. Thinking of changing to Continental, can I use passenger tyres on suv?
*
It should be fine as long as you don't go off-roading. In fact on normal roads it will be the better choice as in general will offer better handling and grip performance. For Continental you can use this CSC5, it's one of the best in the market but be prepared to pay more since this is still made in Europe:

Can’t seem to find csc5 with 235/55/18 on lazada. What about toyo cf2 SUV? Quite new in Malaysia market, so far can’t find any review for Malaysia yet.
*
Go ask around tire shops la, don't just rely on Lazada coz I think Lazada will only have more popular sizes.

I never favor Toyo tires to be honest coz they are kind of overrated and overpriced just because many are imported directly from Japan. laugh.gif If compared to CSC5 I can confidently say that Toyo will not measure up! However I reckon that Toyo should be a lot cheaper too than the CSC5.

Can't tell much but of course much better than my mc5 tyre. Heavy rainfall yesterday.
*
Hahaha yeah of course, it is indeed a higher level tire than the MC5 yet at a cheaper price right?
Give it some run in time then the grip will be even better.

Yup, need time to run in 1st. Just drive from shah alam to melaka. So far it perform better. Just my aligment man doen't like directional tire. Hard to troubleshoot than asymmetric tire.
I bought 2nd hand TE37. Price about RM5.5k without gst cry.gif
*
Yeah they say directional tire is more difficult to align straight but I think not an issue. Mine just drives straight as normal.
Whoa nice rims man! thumbup.gif
