try calling brightstar malaysia for further info for Malaysia's trade up program. the others are doing on their own trade up
I called up the Singapore branch for the trade up program (in Singapore) and got the following response:
1) Any devices in the list of trade up from ANY country are eligible (ie: trading in Malaysian set s8+ in singapore)
2) Any purchase of s9/s9+ from any authorised official distributors (samsung/lazada/telco etc etc) are eligible for the trade in programme.
additional info for the trade up program in singapore:
1) age limitation- at least 18 and above
2) Either a Singapore resident/PR/ EP holder/ work permit holder
3) have a Singaporean bank account
