is the whitestone TG compatible with samsung clear view cover? plan to buy whitestone TG but worry can't use the cover later.
*
Most Samsung cases are suitable because it doesn't protect the edge and bottom enough.

I mean must it be purchased directly from Samsung only or i can buy at 11street, lazada, harvey norman and add it on during the purchase?
*
As long as your phone is SME set and receipt shown within 30days you can buy but your phone need to be inspect by Samsung dealer before they allow you to purchase.

But during the current offer PWP for the extend warranty discount, i guess you need to buy the phone at that store too

what is this red tint about?

Press *#0*# go to led test.

You will notice the white looks reddish. If you're looks white white then you got a non red tint.

Is Whitestone Dome Glass good? That's a hefty price to pay for a TG IMO *sweat*

I just went into Samsung Service Center, paid RM99 to get their nano protective silicon which will self-heal if there's scratches. I think almost similar to clear-coat.

The other day i went to pavilion's mobile fitters.. i got a shock to know they hike up their price from RM185 to RM250 for S9 plus in just 3 freaking months!
*
I previously paid rm250 for hao5d and it cracked replace rm90 and cracked again. Silicon got a weakness after awhile it will have mark and stain so if u would replace it again it will cost u another rm99. Let say u replace 3rd time it will be rm300.

Based on the screen shot below its rm190 and rm225.

I have replace my clear coat 3 times I paid like rm185 + rm6 and u just need rm6 everytime u replace your sp for the lifetime of the phone.

Using S7E naked for almost a year now  smile.gif definitely will get some hairline scratches unless you're a really careful. However as long as it doesn't disrupt the anything when screen is on then I think it doesn't really matter.
The feel of the screen without any screen protector still the best  cool2.gif
Surprising how its been 4 generations of curved screen phones and the SP manufacturers still can't get a perfect one at low cost  bangwall.gif
The other day changed tempered glass on an iphone 6s and it cost me RM3  laugh.gif while even the cheaper SP for S7E cause RM30 above.
*
I using one from direct D for rm10 just my case pushing it.

Nah I paid rm3 to rm4k and accidents don't choose their victim it can happen anywhere and anytime. Sometime you borrow someone your phone they accidentally drop it.

My note 8 drop many times thank God for cases. Scratch in the other hand have a few type a clear visible one, a hairline crack that only visible at certain angle.

Replace I case or sp could cost rm50 to rm200. The frame and screen could cost up to 1k to 2k if unlucky.

The seller said the phone warranty activate on the moment when u first switch on the phone and connected to the Internet. hmm.gif
*
No no this is not iPhone. Most of Samsung phones are pre-activated when Samsung sent to dealers so in case dealer fail to register the warranty still runs between the reasonable time frame.

U notice dealer will fill in a piece of paper then they will update the info on to the Samsung system for the actual purchase date.

Then the lady from SmartGadget lied to me? She told me the warranty activates when first setup the phone with an active Internet connection.
*
From my experience yes but do test it out. Immediately get your phone check the warranty period

If warranty start from your first set up then she is right
If it shows an earlier date then she lied.

E-Warranty via SMS

From phone, type *#06#Copy the IMEI no appeared.Type “PC<space>IMEI NO”(without quote) and send to 62002 for DIGI and MAXIS user or 33802(Celcom User in Malaysia).

Mine is s9+ 128gb. This problem mostly happen on s9+ according to my early search.
They said is hardware problem. They give me option for repair or 1 to 1 exchange. Repair also have to wait for 1 week.

Took 2 weeks for 1 to 1 exchange because they need to do report, wait for approval and bla bla..
*
Usually Samsung don't allow 1 to 1 exchange. They suddenly did means it's a big issue.
