Anyone notice the presence of background noise while playing music with headphones after applying the latest software update?
Or the noise is actually there all the time?  confused.gif
The latest software update mentions the improvement in call stability. Try it.

Even I tried, it is still the same

Wow, all these call drop issue is not helping my confidence in the phone I'm about to receive today laugh.gif

By the way guys, is there the cheapo official Samsung SP available for the S9/S9+ like previously for the S8/S8+? RM39 for two pieces?
*

tried firmware before and new release firmware (ARCC), problem still the same. I'm digi user.

Yesterday talk to Samsung customer service, ask me to make call in safe mode. This is to isolate issue whether it is related to software.

There’s a safe mode? Haha.. OK..

Anyways, phone just arrived. All looks good, will probably only set it up over the weekend. In the meantime I’ll go hunt for screen protection and casing first smile.gif
*
to goto safe mode, reboot ur phone, once you saw the Samsung galaxy s9 appear in the screen, press and hold Volumn down button until you reach the main screen.

The Safe Mode word will appear in your lower left corner. All others apps will be disable (grey color)

Ok, thanks. That’s so “Windows”-like laugh.gif

Have you tried it?
*
I tried to access it just now. But yet to make any call yet. Will try to when make long call to test whether it is really software issue or not.

I'm a maxis user and so far, there isn't any call drop problem... Maybe you can try putting other telcos Sim to verify that is not the telcos connection problem
*
I have another sim card which is maxis, will try that too.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Update for the drop call issue.

To be more specified, I encounter call drop when I'm using Bluetooth to pair with my car player.

So far I never encounter any call drop without any Bluetooth connection.

Yesterday I tried to use another phone to make call to my S9+, there is no call drop for call more than 25 minutes.
(This is without any Bluetooth connection)

Today I tried to use maxis sim card in stead of digi sim card to make call again via Bluetooth to my car player. The same issue happen again. Call drop more than 3 times in 20 minutes call.

What I suspect now is it could be the Bluetooth issue.

Anyone here encounter call drop, is your phone call is connected via Bluetooth ?

Please comment.

Could also be your car player. Maybe use your other phone with the car player and see if there’s a call drop issue?

I don't have such issue with my iphone 7 plus previously.

Ya, I know. That’s the price to pay with cheapo screen protectors. I’m not willing to splash out the cash for a Whitestone or Hoda though. Would rather pay for the screen protection.
*
I'm using Spigen Neo Flex (2 pcs per package) cost me RMB58.Using liquip to spray to the screen protector before stick on the screen. Similar like our tinted film use in car.
