i replaced mine with the High Capacity model long time ago. don't remember any issue with it. btw, just sharing this excerpt from nintendo support site:- QUOTE Loosen the battery cover screws with a crosshead style, size #0 screwdriver. - The battery cover is designed so the screws can be loosened, but not fully removed. http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/ap...a-wii-u-gamepadQUOTE(MarioKart @ Feb 21 2018, 08:06 PM) Dang...my new Wii U gamepad battery arrived today...only to find out it's impossible to unscrew the two small screws to open the battery compartment.... Searched around internet....seems like lots of people have the same problem. Anyone here has success with it?

that new battery life doesn't sound right. mine lasts for at least 6hrs of use. it was the original nintendo high capacity battery replacement model. QUOTE(MarioKart @ Feb 23 2018, 10:02 AM) Thanks bro. Forgot to up date this thread...but i have solved it....none of my precision screw drivers fits it. The battery comes with a small screw driver which fits but it's too small and i turn until thumb also numb. Read many such cases on internut people asking for help to unscrew. I don't have dremel tools...but after reading some comments on using rubber band...i have another idea...since i have a Black and Decker wireless powered screw driver... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « [attachmentid=9612047]
See the blue screwdriver? That's the screw driver that came with the battery pack...because it's smaller than the hole/recess to hold the screwdriver heads in the wireless screwdriver, i wrapped some rubber band to it to make it fit. The setting on the screwdriver, i put to slowest.
After a a bit of forcing it down, managed to get them off like in 2 minutes or less.
The battery is original Wii U battery, the new battery already put inside.
But now, i am not satisfied with the new battery...say what 3600Mah...last night tested only can last 3 hours...WTF. No better than my original Wii U battery. And the low power lights start blinking after 20 minutes!! (eventhough it only dries out in 3 hours). Feels like complaining to Paypal to get my money back.
