Correct. +1.
This is why JPJ has enforced UNECE Step 2 regulations (R89) whereby lorry manufacturers must install speed limiter device in their trucks.
The speed is capped at 90km/h or 100km/h depending on lorry GVW.

but with the speed limiter, i still see lorries speeding.
does this equipment helps to lock the speeding limit or just a recording purposes?

Fire extinguisher if leave in car boot, safe or not, especially under the hot sun?? Later fire eztinguisher explode....sweat.gif

Buy proper 1 or 2 kg fire extinguisher with steel tank, not one of those cheap aerosol can fire extinguishers. Those can't handle the heat.

Buy online at Lazada or 11street can get around RM 80-90. Most have also a mounting bracket, you only need to screw them on and the fire extinguisher won't roll around in your car. Also best place to install is inside the car, not in the boot (recommended is on front passenger foot area.. If put inside boot in emergency for you to get out and open the boot can take time already.

Tip for loosening tight tire nuts:

Use the normal L-shaped nut wrench, but add a long steel pipe use as an improvised breaker bar. This breaker bar increases leverage and you can take off any stubborn tire nut with minimal effort. But remember not to use this to tighten a nut, as you can easily overtight and strip the nut treads.

I know la, it's not just one decade I have been driving all types of vehicles. It's just that the road shoulders are getting narrower and it's best to have some traffic control around the vehicle.

I did say I didn't have any extension pipes or bars in the maid's car.

Not all cars come with it.

Even my 89 Magma has one. The Getz has one, my Fords all have one in the boot. The Persona has one, my Beemers have them on the bootlid and only need a couple of twists of the locknut to remove them. Only our older 60s and 70s cars don't have one. So beli and keep in them.

The earlier lorries didn't fall under this UNECE R89 regulation so that's why can see them speeding.

The SLD will prevent the lorries from exceeding 90km/h or 100km/h depending on lorry's GVW.
Once programmed into the control unit by the manufacturer, it can't be tampered with. grumble.gif
