Hi, I am currently using Streamyx 1mbps and hardly use the landline phone, in fact I think I have not used the phone for nearly a year. I pay about rm115 per month inclusive of gst. The benefit currently is that there is no download volume limit or throttle. The downside is that video streaming is very bad. Is there a cheaper or similarly priced alternative which has faster data speed and sufficient volume of data for streaming video watching (about 1-2 hours per day) ?

If your area is covered by Unifi, you can get UniFi lite 10mbps at RM129. Otherwise I'm afraid you have to consider switching to data plan like uMobile P98.

If u willing to spend RM159. Go for Digi Infinite. Totally worth it but make sure your area covered by Digi 4G.

the 4mbps @ RM 88 has been given free upgrade to 8 mbps this year. maybe you can try push tmpoint to give you 8mbps @ RM 88. otherwise you wanna cancel your 1mbps subscription. I'm paying for 1mbps service @ RM38 after the free upgrade from 384k

maxis 4g go wifi
RM78 20gb
RM108 35gb
RM138 65gb

i potong shitmax and subscribed 138 one, 4 person use, more than enough, speed like rocket if comparing to shitmax

another good thing is, can have multi sim to share the data pool, can ask someone willing to share wit you, definitely can save a lot
