Since yesterday (19/2) afteenoon, maxis fibre in my home suddenly down. After restart and reset the modem and router still the same so i need to call maxis for help. As usual they say need to wait for few days until they can arrange people to fix the problem. I have no choice but to wait, and i think should be ok to wait as they said will be 1 or 2 days. But today on 6pm they message to me say that is arrange a appointment on 26/2, which is too late for me...
So now i try to search for solution to see is that i can do, based on research i done there is some similar case but with no real solution so i decide to ask for help to see if anyone can help me. As what i know this issue may be modem problem as the led light for Auth and Link is gone, when i call maxis the technician point out this issue and say will have people come to investigate. But as mention above it is next week and i cant wait that long as my family nembers all need internet daily. If it is modem issue, can i buy another modem myself which is faster than waiting the technician to come? Actually in the morning i go to tm and ask the same thing but they say meed to refer to maxis, which is expected. Also i see from other site said that you need to buy from tm only because even u are using maxis fibre. If this is true, why i need to wait for someone to come if i can buy and replace myself?
