Yes use phone to tap and pay.

Yes tap and pay like all contactless card/ SP/ AP/ GP.

But slower to launch and use at terminal - many steps before reaching that tapping action. Not as seamless as Samsung Pay/ Apple Pay/ Google Pay.

Have you tried setting the default contactless payment app to UOB?



Then set whether phone unlock is required to use NFC contactless? (Depending on which OEM, some do not have this)



I personally never tried the above as I use Google Wallet as contactless payment.

To use UOB Pay, I will use the UOB app method (which will involve many steps before the tapping action).
