Hi all, interested to apply for the Yolo card due to the 8% cashback with TnG ewallet reload as my toll every month is quite high.
Since 8% is valid for 16x transactions and above, can i say that i can just reload rm10 for 16x (as an example) to be qualified?
also since there's a limit of cashback pool every month, may I know for Yolo, when is the 1st day of the month? is it on the 1st following the calendar month? so that i can topup on that day itself.
thanks in advance for your replies
p/s: how about the annual fee of rm7.50 per month? from uob website, i can't find any requirements for waiver. but from ringgitplus site, it's stated that can be waived wth 1 transaction per month. not sure if it's correct or not

QUOTE(voonmingloo @ Nov 8 2019, 08:02 PM) Just got my YOLO card today. Shall I still try the CB for this month? Or it's too late and better wait for 1st Dec.? Also for the 16X qualification, there's no minimum amount needed right? Say for example, I reload TnG eWallet 15x RM10, then maybe RM475 on Lazada, I will still get RM50 (8%) CB right? Thanks

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Nov 12 2019, 02:13 PM) I think it is a little too late as it is 12th now. But you can give it a go if you want. If you use it to reload Boost the most you lose is RM2, but you can gain RM50, the choice is yours. Thanks but I don't use Boost yet, so will try next month then. BTW just to confirm, the 16x transactions are without any minimum amount right? Thanks

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Nov 12 2019, 02:34 PM) RM10 min amount for each trx. I see, noted with thanks p/s- Just read this in the T&C: 13. For the avoidance of doubt, any transaction which falls below RM10 charged consecutively to the Card at the same participating merchant within the same day will be considered as one (1) transaction for the purpose of calculating the Total Number of Transactions. So if I reload eWallet RM10 x 16 times, should be still eligible right? This post has been edited by lowyat101: Nov 12 2019, 02:40 PM

BTW did you mean that I can reload Boost with this YOLO card for the CB, then withdraw the money out from Boost to bank account with only RM2 charge? Then maybe I shall consider installing Boost now

For the YOLO 16x transactions count, may I know is the 16x must be from Online or Dining categories? Or the 16x can be from any categories but cashback only for Online & Dining?
Thanks

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ May 25 2020, 10:32 AM) The campaign has not ended. How are you going to get your cash back? The campaign will only end on 30/6/2020. The Cash Back will be credited within eight (8) weeks from the end of the Campaign Period. The Cash Back will be reflected in the monthly Statement of Account that follows after the date of the crediting of Cash Back. I tot the 8 weeks from the closing of the participating week though, like those PBB campaigns. so maybe this need until all are ended then

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ May 25 2020, 10:48 AM) The statement is quoted from the campaign T&C. It stated as end of campaign period not end of participating week. Ya I know, maybe I interpreted it wrongly as I was thinking that the "period" is referring to this "period" as per their T&C

SMS U4 by 29March2021 to apply. T&Cs apply Got this just now. So by sms U4, will get d t&c? Got this too and replied them last week. Today got a call from the officer, offering 6 month 0% but she said it's based on reducing balance concept of BT, not too sure what is it. She explained that there will be a new account number for this BT amount, and during the monthly payment, need to pay to this new account and not the original cc account. Also this is something interesting and I'm not sure if I got it right. She said that there will be only 5% monthly minimum payment, where I need to pay only this every month, and on the 6th month, then only just pay off the remaining without any charges or penalty. Example is if I take 10k BT, then every month I pay only 5% which is about RM500 for the first 5 months, then on the 6th month I just pay off the remaining 7.5k. To al the sifus here, may I know if I understand this correctly? Also if there's any "traps" that I need to be careful with? Thanks in advance This post has been edited by lowyat101: Apr 1 2021, 05:33 PM
