Is UOB credit card application very strict ? I had been submitting my application through ringgitplus and ringgitplus had request all kind of document from me and had been re-submitting my document for 4-5 times due to they said not 'clear'. Previously when i apply other CC, i can simply photostate and submit and there is no question asked.
After scan and re-submitted for so many time, ringgitplus finally help to submit to UOB last week then come back this week saying UOB had said the IC provided is not clear need to resubmitt again. blink.gif doh.gif

Just provide a clear IC lo. not that difficult actually.

The problem is i don't know which part of the IC that i provided is not clear. From what i see myself, it is clear enough to see all the information and i had been submitting for 3-4 version of IC already. Really not sure what they want. I even call and ask, they said want my watermark to be on top right (all this while i cross on top left if using manual). I follow their instruction also yet still come back said IC not clear. bangwall.gif

I submitted last time using B&W version from the copier.

Yes. That is normally what we do. I am suspecting if its ringgitplus who want to get our information for whatever 'plan' that they had. Very suspicious and not convince by the reason given. Last time i give them my 3 month salary slip. Then they request to have my epf statement. Given to them. Now they want to have my color copy of my IC. Anyone had this issues before with ringgitplus ?
Not sure its from ringgitplus or UOB that request to have the color IC.

Hmm ... maybe i will re-scan again and resubmit and see what they said. Suspicious part is they dont allow me to cross the IC which had the 'information' . They request me to cross at the top right corner which is with the malaysia flag. I am like thinking .. if you want to fake my IC for other purpose, that part is the most easiest part that you can copy and paste from any other IC then my watermark is gone into ocean.

Really not sure what is this RinggitPlus up to. First time deal with them and i feel like very unsafe and full of suspicious.

YES!! you cannot hide your IC number, your face, and address. Any lines cross those number/word...u need resubmit. Bank also not allow that. Not suspicious its their procedure. Ringgitplus is ok with their signup gift what...otherwise u wont be applying via them also.

Yes. Sign up is because i want to get the UOB CC and the same time they do provide free gift. So decided to try sign up with them. Anyway its my first attempt to sign with them. Will try to submit again and see how.
