I noticed UOB app credit card updates are strange. Transactions are posted pending status for a few days, sometimes a pending transaction disappear for 1 day and reappear 1 day later. But it will settle down after few days, so far I have nothing missing and Cashback are correct, so no complaints. Just strange.

Yes, can reload to GrabPay, and use on pink QR.

IMO not worth to use pay direct because cannot use Grab vouchers and no Grab points if we don't pay with Grab wallet.

1.5% sometimes double to 3% (for those that sign up and use the vouchers in GrabUnlimited and PayLater.). The Grabfood vouchers in GrabUnlimited are worth more, can only use with Grab Wallet .

Eg. RM40 food spend can get up to 120 points. Get the Paylater Grabfood voucher Rm10 at 1000 points. Effective cashback is 3%. This is best case ya, for frequent Grab user is worth it.

From T&C:
If Cardmember’s statement cycle date falls on the 8th of each month, the Minimum Retail Spend for Statement Month of March will be computed from 8th February to 7th March. Any transactions with Posting Date on 8th March will be calculated as Minimum Retail Spend for Statement Month of April.

I use Uob to top up RM100 grabwallet for the 10% cashback( Rm101 with 1% fee). I use grabpaylater for grabfood and usually my monthly bill is rm200 ish. I use hlb CC to link to auto top up, I rmb this is required to link a CC to use grabpaylater. On the 7th of every month, it will auto deduct the rm100 in wallet and the remaining amount auto top up from Hlb CC. No action required.

As for the top up 1% fee question, it is a bit strange for my case. I was using hlb sutera and there is always 1% fee, when I switch to hlb vi, there is no 1% fee, and this ONLY happens for grabpaylater auto top up deduction. Manual top up there is 1% fee. Maybe i got lucky, but I'm not switching again just to test out why this card is an exception.

No need enable auto top up, just need setup auto deduct.
