QUOTE(Alert_RaZO @ Apr 26 2024, 12:24 PM) Frustrated this UOB app. Usually take how long to update the transaction? This morning pay my credit card, until now not yet update. Require staff to do the posting kah? I noticed UOB app credit card updates are strange. Transactions are posted pending status for a few days, sometimes a pending transaction disappear for 1 day and reappear 1 day later. But it will settle down after few days, so far I have nothing missing and Cashback are correct, so no complaints. Just strange.

QUOTE(james2306 @ Aug 22 2024, 04:39 AM) All this time I reload grab wallet n just spend from there.. Anyone can confirm if pay directly with uob one card when making grabfood/grab ride orders, entitled for the cashback? Or is grabpaylater payment also eligible? IMO not worth to use pay direct because cannot use Grab vouchers and no Grab points if we don't pay with Grab wallet. This post has been edited by kyleen: Aug 22 2024, 11:42 AM

QUOTE(knwong @ Aug 22 2024, 11:43 AM) 1.5% sometimes double to 3% (for those that sign up and use the vouchers in GrabUnlimited and PayLater.). The Grabfood vouchers in GrabUnlimited are worth more, can only use with Grab Wallet . This post has been edited by kyleen: Aug 22 2024, 11:50 AM

QUOTE(knwong @ Aug 22 2024, 11:53 AM) I was asking about Grab points because you mention about it. Can you clarify that? Eg. RM40 food spend can get up to 120 points. Get the Paylater Grabfood voucher Rm10 at 1000 points. Effective cashback is 3%. This is best case ya, for frequent Grab user is worth it.

QUOTE(BeadsCrazee @ Nov 20 2024, 03:39 PM) ya there is a petrol transaction posted on statement date. so this item will be included for next month cashback and minimum spending requirement instead of this month? From T&C: If Cardmember’s statement cycle date falls on the 8th of each month, the Minimum Retail Spend for Statement Month of March will be computed from 8th February to 7th March. Any transactions with Posting Date on 8th March will be calculated as Minimum Retail Spend for Statement Month of April.

[quote=Fantasia,Jul 21 2025, 11:32 PM] Besides credit card, I was also given the option of paying using Grab wallet That said, I just found out that GrabPay also eligible for cashback according to TnC. I will test it I use Uob to top up RM100 grabwallet for the 10% cashback( Rm101 with 1% fee). I use grabpaylater for grabfood and usually my monthly bill is rm200 ish. I use hlb CC to link to auto top up, I rmb this is required to link a CC to use grabpaylater. On the 7th of every month, it will auto deduct the rm100 in wallet and the remaining amount auto top up from Hlb CC. No action required.

As for the top up 1% fee question, it is a bit strange for my case. I was using hlb sutera and there is always 1% fee, when I switch to hlb vi, there is no 1% fee, and this ONLY happens for grabpaylater auto top up deduction. Manual top up there is 1% fee. Maybe i got lucky, but I'm not switching again just to test out why this card is an exception. This post has been edited by kyleen: Jul 22 2025, 10:28 AM

QUOTE(MGM @ Nov 2 2025, 10:14 AM) In order to pay Grab Paylater using autodeduct from credit card without incurring 1% fee, do I need setup AUTO TOPUP too? Currently my wallet balance is 0, autodeduct set to EVOL cc, and PAYLATER of RM44 due on 7Nov. Would the mcc code be 6540 for all cc cos I also have HSBC-Amanah-Platinum which requires 6540 to get cb? No need enable auto top up, just need setup auto deduct.
