Hai all. Is UOB card is good for fresh grad? Now my bro build his credit rating and wanted to apply for uob one card. He already got the mbb gold 2 card.

Both. Or does uob have straight regulation to approve card? eg need at least 1year working exp than can apply

My uob one card just approve today (received sms) I just want to ask, it is true that new uob customer need to go to branch to collect the card?

There's lady do confirmation saying that, 'oh since you are new in uob, you need to do some verification blabla at branch' Then I just like , okay2 I take at branch. Perhaps due to my very new to credit facility
And yes, the marketing lady also told me need to swipe min 12 in a year to get waiver but must 'request' to get it

correct. so far only cc alliance and sc can earn cb for this. mcc 6012 is quite rare as far as I know. let me test with uob one card first ( but not worth it as the cb fall under 0.2%)

U already receive callback from their agent? if not try to email their cs. for my case, it takes around 3 week to get know the result (last apply is on march 18)

tried to request sst rebate for uob one( ex citibank ) but rejected twice with diffrent agent. will try again tomorrow then

update : call third time and the agent agree to submit request. will update later once get the outcome

Has anyone encounter sudden credit limit increase? mine ex citi and suddenly today check my CL is double from previous week. So far didnt send any income doc or update working

i see. funny things is the previous uob card ( the old yolo was terminate on last jan 2021) and i assume they combined? will ring them to tomorrow

No i didnt call. just leave it as is might will request smaller CL after traveling this year

should be seamless combine. even my old one card cancelled 2021 and citi cb card now become combine limit

same. both me and waifu from ex citi missing some cb from different category

me. every month need to email to cs to follow up. just last month the cs discover my card and cancelled card on uob ( im ex citi) has different statement date. so cs submit change request to standardize.

However this month still wrong calculate cb but only partial, not fully wrong calculate before cs submit service request.

me ex citi ex uob previously = need report everymonth

actually for beginner, its good card. because

10% everyday, 4 frequenly used category ( grocer,petrol,dining and grab (this grab cacat a bit but if you clever, you can make use of daily payment) and need to spend at least rm 500 to activated the 10%. i think good for someone who starting their cc journey.

this card best pair with like mcm wise card, mbb amex 2, and mbb ikhwan amex ( this one require ewallet skillset)

sharing story of AF waiver for world card.

charged for AF. request for waiver. initially get 50%, then just request if able to waive 100%, then she ask manager, then she said can with bt 0% for 12month.
