Fair point, but if you start from 1st and do everyday RM1 payonline you'll finish 16 by the middle of the month (at least one swipe for the 'real' purchase after all).

If you do one on payonline and 1 on jompay then you'll finish by first week of the month.

If one on payonline, one posonline, and one jompay.... can finish by day 5.

Note, posonline/jompay may or may not earn cashback, but if you're chasing swipes that's the way to do it.
*
it is better if you total up your bill and make 16 times payment on 1st or 2nd of the month since we have portal that allow repeat transaction. We have RM625 quota for 8% tier biggrin.gif

My uob one card just approve today (received sms) I just want to ask, it is true that new uob customer need to go to branch to collect the card?
*
It will post to your address by normal pos, or the bank ask you to collect it?

After few months I canceled my UOB ONE due to can't waive AF, today the bank called me to send new ONE card with 2 years AF waived, why they just don't want to waive AF in the first place...

This preferred platinum card seems better than Yolo card. No need 16 or 8 transactions for cashback. Or am I missing something?
*
If you refer to the TnC, the eligible category is actually limited, especially ONLINE (only limited to 7 merchants) shakehead.gif

I was putting hope on this card at the beginning until I notice the TnC, then return the card back into drawer.

didnt mention on their website as well, call CS told me will have charges
*
Do you apply the card online or tru agent? If need to pay in advance, just don't activate and call to terminate the card immediately. What the purpose if you already pay more money for the card before you earn any cash back?

We never need to pay any fee/charges within the first year we received a new card, and we don't want to pay for subsequent year either (if possible) rclxm9.gif .

Maybe you can remove the 6% and 3% for the YOLO card at first page as it no longer valid and may cause confusion for new user, thank you.

i got the CB for Oct 🤟🏻

spend before the quota finish, then complete those remain transactions after quota still entitled for cashback

user posted image
*
I already done 16 Transaction on 4th Oct (total RM450.40).

I did 1 transaction RM 130.09 on 15 Oct, this one did not get CB.

I checked my cash back received is only RM450.40 x 8% = RM36.03

So its mean FCFS for cb quota, and transactions for eligible 5%/8% can do later

From user side, spend max amount to get max cb first and eligible for 8% later.
From UOB side, calculate user total transaction of the month for 5%/8%, then distribute the cb on FCFS.

Whether ok to put this info at first page since it is confirmed?

planning to cancel this card, do i still need to pay the RM25?
*
UOB send you the card or you applied for the card?
It's weird if you applied then cancelled it after received because of the SST.

I encountered similar issue with my Nov YOLO cashback on Lazada top-up transactions. Do you mind to check the wordings of your posted transaction?
*
QUOTE(wahlaueh @ Dec 22 2018, 12:10 PM)
Hmm, seems like my Lazada wallet reload via YOLO on 11.11 was not counted towards cashback. Not sure is pool cashback has been depleted because of 11.11 or reload to Lazada wallet no longer attract cashback.
I am very sure that particular transaction doesn't added to cashback because I kept an excel file and calculate manually and removing that reload matched the cashback I received on 17.12.2018. sad.gif

Most probably cash back pool finished

02 Nov 2018 Lazada Topup KUALA LUMPUR MY 325.00 MYR (mobile app topup)

to entitle for cashback, i need to swipe 8 to 15 transactions for 5% cashback

for the 8 to 15 transactions, it must be online / dining? or can be retail spending?

for example fuel / petrol i can split to 5 transactions. another 3 transactions maybe lazada / jompay or have to be at least 8 lazada / jompay transactions only entitle for the cashback?
*
Any transactions is counted, but only cashback on the specific categories.
u can spend on anything as long as you have min 16 transactions from 1st till end of the month, and the cash back is FCFS until pool finished when you spent on eligible categories.
As rule of thumb, spend as early as possible to get the full 8% cash back (RM625), then complete the transaction count later.

so mean fuel / petrol i can split to 5 transactions. another 3 transactions maybe lazada / jompay, in the end i am still getting the cashback through 3 transactions which belong to lazada / jompay, correct?

the fuel / petrol transactions just to make my 3 transactions (online) to eligible for cashback
*
Yes you are right, I think the best way is make use of JOMPAY to meet 8% cash back by reaching 16 transactions, you have whole month to do that, by comparison, 8% just need spend RM625, while 5% need spend RM1000 to max cashback.

The T&C says must be in category. Have you tried 'any transaction is counted' before? I would not take the risk.

Please go read TnC Clause 5 & 15.

Oh no, how abt if i do a transaction of RM1 for 5 separate days into BigPay, does it qualify as part of the 8 counts?
*
If you have time, you can do RM 1 transaction daily from 1st to end of month, as transaction counts only affect 0%/5%/8%, not cash back pool.
Even if you completed 16th transaction count on last day of the month, you still entitle 8%.

5 transactions totalling RM189 on 2nd Jan
Plus below.

Cash back amount RM40.48

So only Nene chicken is not considered dining?

[attachmentid=10186950]

For jan Your total spending 189+ 327.65, total 516.65 , CB 8% RM41.33 but got less 0.85? RM10.65 not getting cb, maybe your both RM 5 and 5.65 not in cb category.
