It look like the new Yolo card term and con will affect many ppl. After screen through the T&C, it look like we will have to at least swipe 7x RM10 and 1x RM1 to qualify the 8x swipe.

And 'play fair and square' is different from 'ignorant'. Same as customers who complain 'why didn't I get my 15% cashback' because didn't read T&C of minimum spending RM2k or what not.

The fact that first month cashback was up till 28th of the month indicates that few (if any) 'fair and square' customers got screwed over by those who prefer to optimize for highest chance. Go blame the ones who set the T&C rather than those who want to optimize our fast-depreciating assets.

The loophole term doesn't come from me if you read the post trail.
I'm only say that it's kind of "abuse" for doing RM 1 x 8.
Everybody is entitled to his/her deference.
Consumer wants to outsmart the bank; the bank can outsmart to protect its interest.

My sincere advice,

1. Request to cancel card at-least 2 months before the annual fees be charged.

2. The CS will request you to hold the card and some one will call you back afterward.

3. You may be offered another 2 years annual fees waiver.

4. Based on my experience, number of swipes is not a compulsory criteria

(My case, UOB Visa Infinite - swipe less than 5 times / Visa Premier Mile - wipe less than 3 times. Been offered 2 years annual fees waiver without any condition)

Please read (answers to your FAQ)
1) YOLO Cash Back and Spending is based on Calendar Month. The spending is based on transaction date not posting date. So you can swipe on 31st of Jan and it may be posted on 1st Feb or 2nd Feb BUT it will still be for the January quota. Confirmed on 20.04.2017 by ronnie.
2) Your YOLO Cash Back will only be credited at the end of next month. Example: For transactions in February, Cash Back will be received around end of March. (We don’t know which date exactly as it depends on UOB but after 20th).
3) If you spend below RM500 for YOLO, you won’t get any cash back. To maximize cash back percentage for online spend only, spend RM833.30, and you will effectively earn 6% cash back.
4) Is xxx eligible for online 6%? Unless reported otherwise (see list in post #1), you should really read the T&C of YOLO Cash Back. They do have a list of items that will not be awarded with cash back. Other than that list, logically, it should be entitled for 6% rebate if it’s online transaction. We don’t work for UOB. We don't know for sure. This card only came about in August 2016.

They did send a SMS a week ago to notified that I have been shortlisted and require to answer a simple question and have to reply through SMS. If succeed will be notify.

But I have yet to receive any SMS notification, As I saw one of the member mentioning the cash back been awarded, went to check and its has been reflected in my credit card online account.

Didnt aware of the second round event. I won the RM 300 first come first serve event last year also.
