Agreed. After this cycle I will either put the card in warm storage or cancel outright. Thing is the cashback not bad la.

Screw their shit system

They haven't given me the cashback for the NTB autobilling campaign as well.

Does anybody participate in the eWallet deals every Thursday? Can a saved card work on Shopee/Lazada, or a manual entry prompting OTP is required?

How fast does it typically run out, and how fast is the reward received?

Not to all. I have complained. Missing 2 months cashback. And until now not heard back from them. I complained via call and email.

I even have complained about the NTB billing campaign, got zero cashback despite meeting the T&C.

My cashback also not tally, bloody cb UOB. For the longest time no issue, in fact even after migration no issue until Oct 2023

My family member got an SMS that bill is ready...however they cancelled the Citibank card over a year ago. Anyone got the same? Anything to be worried about? They reactivate a deactivated card...is that possible?

I regret to inform that despite numerous attempts at reporting my grievance on the missing cashback for the UOB Malaysia Auto-billing Campaign 2023 (with multiple emails and phone calls on this matter since September 2023), the matter has yet to be resolved.

Email received on this promotion: (1) 04 May 2023 and (2) 26 May 2023

Eligibility period: 01 June 2023 to 31 August 2023

Mechanics:
Category A - RM20 for each auto-billing payment made over 3 consecutive months
Category B - RM100 when an auto-billing payment is made to an insurance merchant

Fulfilment: The cash back will be credited to Eligible Cardmember’s principal Credit Card account within 8 weeks days after the end of Eligible Offer Period corresponding with the new card approval month and will be reflected in his/her monthly credit card statement.

List of Eligible Auto-billing Transactions (New Billers)

Summary

Based on the Terms & Conditions of the campaign, I have qualified for RM120 cashback. By right, UOB Malaysia should automatically credit the cashback within 8 weeks of the end of the eligible offer period (i.e. 8 weeks from 31 August 2023). However, till date, I have yet to receive this cashback.

This is my final email to UOB Malaysia on this matter. I have provided all required proof. If UOB Malaysia fails to credit the cashback to my account within 7 working days, I will escalate this matter to Bank Negara Malaysia (who are cc-ed to this email).

It is extremely disheartening that UOB Malaysia is unable to fulfil its own campaigns, and customers have to chase the company multiple times for what is rightfully theirs.

Issue

There was zero cashback credited in my October 2023 statement. By right, I should be entitled to the following cashback for the statement month:

Petrol - RM10.00 (xx transaction of RM100.00 on 26 Sep 2023)
Grab - RM10.00 (xx transaction of RM100.00 on 06 Sep 2023)
Groceries - RM0.59 (xx transaction of RM5.85 on 02 Oct 2023)
Dining - RM10.00 (xx transactions of >RM100.00 during the month)

In my November 2023 statement, there appears to be adjustments made for some of the missing cashback from October 2023.

By right, I should be entitled to the following cashback for the statement month:

Petrol - RM5.00 (xx transaction of RM50.00 on 08 Oct 2023)
Grab - RM10.00 (xx transaction of RM100.00 on 06 Oct 2023)
Dining - RM10.00 (xx transactions of >RM100.00 during the month)

Total cashback earned (Oct + Nov 2023):
Petrol - RM10.00 + RM5.00 = RM15.00
Grab - RM10.00 + RM10.00 = RM20.00
Dining - RM10.00 + RM10.00 = RM20.00
Groceries - RM0.59 + RM0.00 = RM0.59

However, the cashback credited in my November 2023 statement does not tally for Grab (only RM10 cashback credited when I should receive RM20) and Petrol (only RM10 credit when I should receive RM15). Therefore, in total, I am still missing RM15 cashback.

Summary

Based on the Terms & Conditions of the UOB One credit card, I received incorrect cashback for two months in a row. I have called and emailed UOB Malaysia on this matter, which unsatisfactory outcome as the cashback crediting is still inaccurate. I am still missing RM15 cashback that I have rightfully earned based on the terms and conditions of the UOB One credit card.

This is my final email to UOB Malaysia on this matter. I have provided all required proof. If UOB Malaysia fails to credit the cashback to my account within 7 working days, I will escalate this matter to Bank Negara Malaysia (who are cc-ed to this email).

Finally got the new-to-bank autobilling cashback after escalating it. Sad that the banks are often not diligent enough to fulfil their campaign promises as per T&C, and only have to complain and escalate before they make good.

You can follow my complaint email in the previous pages. Finally got UOB to acknowledge the incorrect cashback and they promised to rectify it. This time, I have it in writing. Let's see how it goes.

I got some weird cashback adjustment for Oct and Nov 2023 after complaining and escalating. It's around rm30 extra than what I should be getting. Oh well, maybe for all the troubles I had to go through.
