I am not trying to promote Public Mutual, but there's this agent (well a friend lah) she approached me and promoted me this Public Mutual product where the interest is similar to our EPF, around 5% per annum and she asked me "Why you don't want to withdraw from your EPF to and place into this fund? They are similar in interest and you can take it as a better than FD investment and best of all can take out anytime."
I forgotten the product name, not sure if any of you aware of this or not.
I didn't really told her the reason but I believe because EPF is been guaranteed by government at least 2.5%, meanwhile I am not convince of PM's performance.
So why I mentioned this? Because the EPF withdrawing news has been in the trend again lately and I saw some discussion regarding allowing citizens to withdraw RM 500 monthly from EPF, that's why I am curious if these people better put their money in other avenues where they can withdraw or something?
Note: not a public mutual agent and also not selling or promoting.
Get the T&C correctly from your friend and study it.I forgotten the product name, not sure if any of you aware of this or not.

If it were true, many would've done it and you would've hear from it in here as well
