Yes, but it's not running ZenUI as well.

Just got the RN5. I'm interested in unlocking the bootloader first because I read that they might or might not reimplement the 15 day wait time in future. That won't be ideal if I'm already using the phone.

Is there any cons to unlocking it first? not planning to flash roms yet cause I'd like to try out MIUI for a while first.

Looking forward to hear the opinions of XM sifu's notworthy.gif

From what I understand:

unlock bootloader, stock rom = warranty
unlock booloader, custom rom = no warranty

is that correct?

Should be under Astro, not too sure on the ownership of the site. It handles their TV shopping etc though.

I bought it from here, comes with the EIN sticker + checked the IMEI; it's Malaysia set.

Using 2 sims, MIUI Optimization off and memory optimization off.

Pretty good, my average is about 1 day 10hours +-8 hours SOT. No games though.

On a side note.. what mail app do you guys use for hotmail? I can't seem to find an app that push mail instantly like my previous iPhone 5 [stock mail app].
Even the android Outlook app only works sometimes.

Edit: I saw you turned off miui optimization/memory optimization? I advise you turn it back on, that's bad advice from the websites. Bugs start happening and used to cause my older miui phone to lag bad after a while.

Regarding the optimization, do you mean to turn them both on or one of them in particular?
From what I've read though, is that the system handles memory closer to how it's handled on stock OS. Which means it'll only force close apps when full or close to full. Could that be the cause of your lag?

I've yet to debloat but will do it after trying out MIUI 10.
