I don't find it to be that slow, but definitely will be slower than starting the app from the home screen. WiFi reconnects? Perhaps check your settings again, never encountered such problem.

Encountered this as well, seems like it happens if you have some applications open and then run the camera app, it will take time to start, and also when you press the shutter button, the first pic takes abit to save.

if you use app lock. you try open app A but don unclock then go open app B and unlock it will load you into app A damn annoying

no sifu, but you can use alternative sms app, like textra which has ads unless you pay. another alternative app is android messages by google. changing the text size in display settings will have an effect.
