Just played with this phone today. Yes screen is washed out. But then not surprising la. Cheap phone with above average specs, sure cut corners here and there la.

Thinking of getting this as 2nd phone. Just now tried at shop. The camera is so so slow.

Anyone feeling the same? It takes 1-2 seconds to open camera app then take picture takes another 1-2 seconds.

Just got the Note 5 4GB yesterday for rm850. Pretty darn good phone for this pricing. Really above expectations.

For me, its the worst case i ever used. So freaking loose. And it tends to be sticky especially if u have sweaty palms.

Been using this rn5 for a few weeks already and this phone has really really surprised me as to how good it is. For 850 bucks for the 4gb/64gb version, it has been fast and smooth so far.

I cant believe this fone retails at less than 1k.

The camera is very very decent in all shooting conditions. Its not the best, but its good and it is definately better than xiaomis of the past.

I play games but mostly light games like Clash Royale and they run smooth as hell.

The built quality is also amazing for this price range.

And also the speaker is loud and its definately more than enough.

Overall, this is really an awesome phone for its price . I dont think the Asus M1P can come close to it.

This is just a temporary fix. Once u fill ur fone up with things, it will be slow again.

My camera launch was fine when it was new. Now its slow. Sometimes take 2-3 sec to launch.

Weird, when i do speed test on iphone 7 and s9 plus on the same wifi i get around 100mbps

However on my rn5 i am getting only 30mbps on the same wifi.

Is the rn5 inferior in terms of the hardware?

Besides, i am not having any issues with GPS.

Sometimes, its just Waze problem. Waze having alot of issues recently. Cant connect

I am on Maxis btw. If you are on Umobile pls dont complain about the GPS cuz UM line sucks

I am using rn5 4/64gb and yes can feel its getting laggier by the day.

Initially it was all smooth and nice. I love the miui, the camera takes good pictures.

Nowadays,

Sometimes camera takes 2 seconds to open. And to take a photo takes a few seconds. Huge delay btw pressing button and phone taking picture.

Sometimes while opening the camera, it will crash for no reason.

Yes, mine is malaysia set. And its been only a few months using it.

So yea, no such thing as cheap n good.

Nope. Definately no hardware issues. Xiaomi phones mmg like this.

Yes updated. But the issues started b4 i updated.

Anyway will see how it goes. It does not happen all the while but every now and then, the camera will suddenly hang n crash

My previous Huawei Mate 8 was a dream. Never had any issues besides a change of battery. One of the best phones i ever used.

Using s9plus and rn5 now. So far s9plus no lag issues.
