Encountered this as well, seems like it happens if you have some applications open and then run the camera app, it will take time to start, and also when you press the shutter button, the first pic takes abit to save.

pretty much same as whatever you are running. It only hangs on the *first* shot on either of the camera app, after that it will work fine. Force closing it and launching it again doesnt bring up the issue, until maybe a little of inactivity or doing something else.

latest miui9.5.13 mightve fixed my camera issues. Gonna test and report back later.

If you are on umobile, it almost always never works. Fortunately for me, I have dual sim, so I have to launch Waze with Maxis, then switch back to umobile and then my gps will be fine.

Just to illustrate the difference, you can see the clear difference in speed when connected to 2.4ghz and 5ghz.

Those having gps issue, can try this fix. Seems to work for me, but not sure if it'll be consistent. Gonna give it a try anyway.
