Just want to confirm, does it support USB On the go? As in can cucuk USB to access files in USB.

Just got myself the 3gb version from physical Mi Store.

This is my first ever Mi phone in my life.

First impression, I am impressed.

Coming from S7 edge, for this price, this is hands down the best value for money phone you can get at this price range.

From my first few hours of setting up, I love MIUI (though i changed to Nova launcher), superb battery life, great screen, and good camera.

And I don't think this will be my last Mi device.

Heard this update cause some battery drain. Would advice to wait for later version or MIUI 10.

Owh ya, now I remember someone did post that. I think it's due to camera lense protecter that the fella installed on their own. From the box, it doesn't come with any layer.

Charged to 100% yest lunch time, then started my battery draining activities.

Fb, lowyat, Iflix, YouTube, movies, no gaming though. All done on data, no WiFi.

Used to play PUBG but quit recently. Might start again to test gaming performance and endurance for gaming.

Now gonna test charging time with stock charger.

True, but it's much cheaper to purchase online, plus with discount vouchers if you know how.

But though I am an avid fan of online shopping, I got my RN5 unit from physical Mi Store, cos I wanna open there and then to check for any defects and try on the spot.

For me, the difference in price is worth compared to worrying about postage condition and kena scammed online.

But RN5 camera is no slouch either.

It's usable for day to day, or even for travelling purpose. For this price range, it's good.

Today was my first time trying out the GPS since I got this phone a week ago.

Indoors detection is not good. Couldn't detect at all.

For outdoors, I want to tell happened, not sure whether you guys have experienced before.

So I was downloading movies from Iflix to watch offline later (since I just changed to new GX50 unlimited plan today ).

Then I needed to use Waze but it can't detect GPS. Accuracy also set to the highest.

Saya bingung.

Then I paused my download and try again. Surprisingly boleh pulak detect GPS.

So my conclusion is I need good mobile network for my phone GPS to work.

And GPS for RN5 is weak to bad in my opinion. My previous S7e will lock in within seconds.

Oh well.
