Pricing part is decided by xiaomi lor (official channel). Like honor 9 lite 3+32 variant which currently sell for 1.2k rmb in china, the price is also pretty similar on vmall malaysia. Besides another new sd 636 phone also going to be out by next Wed, so more choice for us consumers

The key is the "Timing". If they bring late then there will be more competitors will come into the market with better pricing and similar/better specs. Look at Nova 2i and Redmi 5 (3/32). Price drop quite fast even just after launch not for long. Even own brand also compete among themselves (Huawei vs Honor vs Others). I believe if RN5P arrived then R5/5+ price will be pressured too.

I will put RN5P "similar" spec and head to head to Nova 2i and i hope RN5P in MY Price should be <RM1K for the 4/64 variant (my first pick). Probably 3/32 is below norm and 6/64 is overprice and overkill spec.

FAST FAST bring in to MY market hopefully by end March will be seeing AP set online selling! Can't wait to hold it on hand!!
