Got Xiaomi lor, it went as low as RM800 on Aliexpress for the 4GB variant. If 3GB variant, it's even cheaper.

Is 32gb variant good enough for casual phone user like me? or is it better for me to buy the 64gb variant? Thoughts on the price tags for the specs?

By casual I mean, I use my phone for social media apps (youtube,fb,instagram) , navigation apps (waze,map,grab)and gaming (particularly Marvel's Future Fight).

today i skipped lunch to buy 4/64gb      initially my plan was to but RN5 + Amazfit bip now look like have to cancel plan   

In due time prices for RN5 will drop. then just couple em with vouchers or discount codes.    Can be cheaper than retail store. Why i recommend the 4gb+variant is because it seems to me you might actually use this phone for years, so 4GB RAM is better.

I agree better to get 4gb, example I have been using my Samsung Note 3 for age's (4 years+)
